"take the money and run" type market

I think it depends on how long you've been trading enforcer. Being complacement and afraid of losing is a very good trait to have early in this career (said by the few big professionals that have made it in this job who mentor students). I agree though if you are advanced at this point in time...

Didn't trade today (apparently lucked out because it seems TS had quite the nasty day). How did you do sir? ~Cx

I love how somebody always has to ruin it for the others. Feels like high school all over again. Come back soon and enjoy your break, your input will be missed. ~Cx

    Stupid tradestation

Is this just a rant on them for today or is this something that happens consistently because i just signed over with them on my ES account. --? ~Cx

Initially I was in agreement with that statement but now I'm going to have to say that you are dead wrong. This guy has an ego bigger than Jupiter and I pity the people that intently absorb his advice in PM's not directly involving the direct following of price action. Thread's about helping...

Actually it's exactly what I want to hear. I believe what I plan on doing will be papertrading for the most part in the beginning, and then taking minimal car size trades when the setup is strong. The actual trades will be what covers all of the platform fees anyway :) Thanks for the input...

Well after years of trading equities, I am now putting that to rest for the time being as my ES account has been validated and is up and running now. Also I am trying the tick/volume bars now instead of timing increments. So yeah... new to ES or futures in general thought I do have experience...

Np. You give good straight forward answers, and if it seems like im prying for information I apologize, not my intentions. The fact that you are teaching people to follow price and trends as the basis is a goldmine of education for this business in my opinion anyway. Not looking for your home...

AHG - Profitable Strategy for Struggling Traders

Do you need to see the HH HL or LH LL in waves following a big trend up or down? The example I think of that makes me ask this is when you get those nice bounces straight up or down in the other direction causing alot of the new move to occur and lose juice before you get a shot at it...

AHG - Profitable Strategy for Struggling Traders

Quick question. If you are using indicators that are developed 100% from price action, why not just let the price action show/tell you what is happening instead of referring to an indicator to try and tell you what is allready happening as price moves/develops itself. Confuses me...but just...

    Trading with the MOON

There is a guy that Goldman Sachs keeps out of public access that has been very accurate calling market moves/corrections/etc. based on stuff like that. Has to do with energies and how they affect people during different seasons or parts of the year. Other than that I imagine you better make...

Yeah, that's kind of what I was asking about a few pages ago. You can run HH HL bar per bar or look at it from each swing/pivot standpoint.

bad news for perma bears and shorts

Today just gives some more conviction to the downtrend line on the index charts.

Are you reading HH/HL's or LH/LL's per every new bar that is formed or per pivot / wave? Looks like bar to bar from the charts but just wanted to be sure. A little different for me because i'm not used to volume/tick charts yet. ~Cx

Should be able to do any sort of trade from the price action alone. Anything else would be a bonus.
