the riff in the beginning of "Pride (In the Name of Love)" could possibly be one of my favorite riffs ever. the beginning of "Where the Streets Have No Name" is also awesome.

The Edge is one of my favorite guitarists. His style is just not technically that complicated, but the notes he plays are sometimes like perfect, imo. For example, the guitar in "With or Without You" is all very simple and complexity is just totally not even needed at all.

i also really love like every guitar solo on Metallica's black album.

imo, Eddie Van Halen is the greatest guitar player ever. he has soooo many awesome solos, but my fav is probably the one in "I'll Wait"

a lot of shows and movies have used the USA military. i saw a show about this. the government says they don't mind doing it if the military is portrayed in a positive way or something. i guess they consider it a commercial for them.
