IBs with larger clearing house behind like ghco, rosentile...should be safer, but with velocity still your money is insured afaik, but very knowledgeable firm at what they do and offer, not just delivering a service as per past disscutions here P.s Don't take what i said, that's just an opinion

You are forgetting that we are talking about 100 shares only. With 3500 shares and $2000 profit, there is some kind of parity, but when trading just 100 shares, you will have different commission structure and you soft/hardware infrastructure setup remain same as you had been trading bigger...

Trading 100 shares and averaging $50-100 a day? You must be best trader in the world to make that kind of return, even buying 100 shares of google :p

My answer is big "NO" I recommand Tradestation for many reseons -All in one plateform -Lot of improvement expected this year, issues like forex automation, portfolio testing, european markets, fundmentals backtesting.... will be resolved -New branches in Chicago and London will be active...

Scaning for these conditions are nothing, every softwere can do Investor RT, Neoticker, Tradestation, Metastock, metatrader...

Waahh, I always thought brazil should have better internet being closer to America. What's fastest DSL speed you get in Brazil and cost/month? For scalping, I think data feed provider causes more lag than what you internet speed is .... Lets say: -First person is using CQG with 4 mbps DSL...

You should move to ASIA, several times cheaper than to live in europe and more relaxing and enjoyful living. it's a very nice timezone for trading the U.S. markets. They open at 9.00pm ET, so you have the whole day free for other things and don't have too wake up early morning If you like...
