    Trend Question (examples)

Your odds of success are greatly enhanced by trading with the larger trend. Which, I am pretty sure is what Xela was saying. I agree. Having said that here is my answer. Exit when on a lower time frame than entry time frame price begins to generate swing highs and swing lows that almost...

The reason I dont use any indicators

Most of the time indicators are just delayed depictions of what the charts are already telling you. In my opinion its not that they work or not, its that they are behind. The one exception being an exit strategy based on diversion.

Question, Do you have an exit strategy? And if so what is it?

    Psychology Journal

I am afraid I must disagree. Trading is mostly psychology. Theirs and yours. When you journal make sure the entries are composed in a way that you can read them 6 months from now and they will make sense. I wonder if it would be interesting to include what you believed the other traders were...

How Hedged Am I in the Pre-and After-Market Hours?

It does depend on your broker. The brokers risk management policies will have to factor in unrealized profits and losses when in the same account or a linked account. See advice above, talk to your broker. A possible alternative if you do not like your brokers answer is to convert your position...

    Swing trading as a beginner

Thats an easy one. When I was teaching everyone would trade a sim account until they consistently achieved the target numbers. Never a need to blow out an account. I probably should have touched on that earlier.

    Swing trading as a beginner

It depends on your trading style/risk tolerence but you should be doing better than 30 to 35 percent.

    Swing trading as a beginner

I have to disagree. Making 25 percent return per year is very possible. Even for an average trader. Anybody that is considering swing trading should consider the risk of holding positions overnight during low volume/closed markets. My reccomendation would be to use options.

Is it possible that an edge/pattern that has worked since the beginning of time?

Yes. Support and resistance has always worked because its based on the current psychology of the traders collectively. In effect automatically adjusting to changing market conditions. That being said nothing works 100 percent of the time. Nothing can account for surprise variables like a world...

Stop Target at the most recent swing Low or High when trading Long

It is tight but with a breakout it either becomes a winner quickly or fails just as quickly. That being the case I want out as soon as it fails to do as I expected. Having said that nothing would prevent me from re entering the trade if technicals permit. Typically my breakout trading would...

Stop Target at the most recent swing Low or High when trading Long

I will place it below the previous swing high and give it a few more ticks so I am not prematurely stopped out.

    Crowdfunding

I use crowdfunding for my realestate investments here in the USA. In my country it is highly regulated. Possibly over regulated. Like any trade you must do your due dilligence. At least if you take an equity position in realestate you have something of value in the event the project goes bad.

How can i become a good trader?

To improve performance in any endeavor you must measure past performance. So if I could give piece of advice it would be this. Log and review every trade you make. Why did tou get in? Why did you get out? What happened after you got out?
