I think MW has not the abilities like Trade-Ideas or TC 2000. You would have to create a watchlist first with all stocks to run a scan. But you will notice the limitations because IB allows only to watch 100 stocks simultaneously in realtime, barchart some more but not all. This don´t work for me.

No i bought MW. But it doesn´t matter, also the trial edition uses IB´s datafeed for charting. But if you buy MW you can trade. In MW there is the option to use IB for trading and using a second data source for charting, what i recommend because of IB´s endless backfill times.

I tried Motivewave and Ninja for charting and trading (only MW). I ´m of the opinion that you need a second data source to use this combination. Otherwise ib´s backfill for charting takes forever and drives you crazy.

You are absolut right. I am not a Webull customer but the capabilities you mentioned i know from TC 2000 and Tradingview. In TOS with the mousewheel you can move the chart to the left or right but for a vertical movement you first have to select the hand button from the tool menue at the bottom...

This would be great because i just try scanz out. Does scanz has a log function. I would like to get back in time to look if my creteria matched to a specific time. Trade Ideas has such a function. Otherwise you must run the scans all the time to see if a stock shows up.

What about tc 2000 or tradingview? They have also scanners included but are cheaper. Ok you don´t get L2.

Thanks for your reply. Would it be possible to use MW´s orderflow edition with IB as broker and IQ as data service simultaneously? In configure/workspaces/modify/advanced i found such settings. Or would this only be possible with the pro edition?

I intend to trade futures with Motivewave and IB but i am not quite sure if IB´s market data would be sufficent for this, especially when using volume profile. I guess when scalping the 1m chart it would be sufficent but IB doesn´t offer tick data which are necessary for volume profiles. Would...

I was using ib’s data feed and noticed that two of my watched stocks suddenly stucked. I got no 1m candles for some minutes what is absolutely unacceptable. I assume it is not motivewave but ib’s data stream. Had someone the same issue?

At the moment i am testing motivewave which has incredible good looking charts. Charts are loading much faster as with SC.

I´m not on a budget, because i´m using tradingview and sierra but have no need for those scanners, because tradingview and tws have their own. I don´t need scanz or trade-ideas to get premarket gappers. Scanz or trade-ideas maybe good for finding momo stocks, which have a big move after market...

Too expensive and i can see on the tws scanner which stocks are moving (% change since open). I hate TWS charts.
