The market is seeing something we dont see yet—

Right, I understand. I've tossed away so much of the stuff that I've looked at over the years.

Have you ever checked out Miner's book on E-Wave? I think that it's a bit more refined than Prechter's book.

The "ladies are waiting" comment at the end was a nice touch. lol. Troll Central.

Seems like a lot of panic over such a relatively small decline

Blank stares on their faces when you remind them of the last two times bubbles burst (and that it wasn't that long ago)..."but it can't happen this time for blah, blah, blah reasons".

Doug Kass wants to tax retail traders out of existence?

Someone posted his tweets awhile back. He went short a month too early in August of this year, then he went long too early about a month ago. He was banking on a trading range, the bottom fell out and now it's suddenly the fault of the HFT machines. The argument would be more credible if he...

He never filled on the 2310.50 order, so his cost basis is still higher.

The market is seeing something we dont see yet—

That's true. In fact, I believe the market tagged almost to the tick the .618 retrace off of the W1:1 on that flagpole rally into and post 2018 elections (11/7).

You might have to bite the bullet and play the accordion in your original range projection.

Only when he goes long. He'll sit on hundreds of points of open drawdown on longs, but I can tell he is a cautious short. Hard to blame him, everyone was conditioned to expect violent rips higher off of any short term weakness the past 9-10 years.

The best trade is staying in cash -

Same. I think this one is particularly dangerous because of the abysmal liquidity. Since that Feb 2016 bottom and the few limit down events (Brexit and election), it's been a slow motion blow off top (without any of the fireworks that we saw in 2000, yet the parabolic nature of the charts is...

Just remember 2008, everything was fine

Another guy I haven't seen or heard in years is Bill Fleckenstein. I remember him and his mullet back in the 90's forecasting bearish outcomes.

He does stand out in a chorus of broken clocks on the other side of the coin.

It seems we had a decent 8-year cycle of recessions hitting until 2016. '92, '00, '08 and the market's were wobbly into mid-2015, then the rate hike cycle was about to hit (swoon in Aug 2015, follow-thru selling in early 2016), but then the rate hike cycle was delayed due to the upcoming...

I'm confused? Reuters actually quoted the "Plunge Protection Team", not really some conspiracy theory when a mainstream news source is even talking about it. Then again, I'm sure confusion comes naturally to you, seeing as you still think the O.P. of this thread is legit.
