    CNBC - Cramer's Mad Money

I never said what he was doing was illegal. People are frontrunning other stupid people. They know in advance what Cramer will say on his television show. Since I didn't know at the time that Cramer says the same stuff on his radio show, I used "legal means or not." Now that I know, it is of...

    CNBC - Cramer's Mad Money

Never said there was a conspiracy. I just noticed people frontrunning his show. And it turns out they are doing just that using his alternate show formats (i.e., radio). By the way, thanks for using a condescending attitude everytime you post.

    CNBC - Cramer's Mad Money

So how come MRO, DVN, APC, OXY, and APA all were 50 cents higher in the aftermarket an hour before Cramer pumped them this evening? People are getting his picks in advance whether it be by legal means or not.

Nasdaq Busts and my $11,000 story

How much at risk can you be when you have gotten a 15% off print just out of the blue? If the stock eventually trades near your entry price, then it becomes non-bustable. They aren't going to bust on you if the stock is already trading where they are saying they want a bust. If you get a...

Nasdaq Busts and my $11,000 story

Go through all the "clearly erroneous" rules for ARCA and INET and they will have very strict parameters on what is bustable and what is not. And then they both have one sentence at the very end saying "we have discretion to do anything we please even if it violates the rules written previously...

How did you get advance notice on TWX?

Nasdaq Busts and my $11,000 story

It is supposed to protect people if they make typos accidentally. The rationale is that no one should lose all their money on a typo. If the busting procedures were followed to the letter, then I wouldn't have a problem with them. But there are no hard and true rules when it comes to...

Todays mass of erroneous trading at 9:30

Hopefully the firm in error gets to walk away with a simple slap on the wrist (the usual busting policy). That way they will never make this mistake again! In fact, I'm pretty sure I will never see another one of these major league screwjobs again in my lifetime!!!!!!!!!!!

Nasdaq Busts and my $11,000 story

My suggestion is to keep the $11,000 in a slush fund that you can use later to cover your ass when NASDAQ busts on you the opposite way. The busting rules are enforced in such a random way as to be almost meaningless.

    CNBC - Cramer's Mad Money

So if Cramer said "buy" last night instead of "sell", you are telling me ROYL would have sold off too?
  11. S

    CNBC - Cramer's Mad Money

Are you talking to me? If so, what the hell is your problem? Cramer said to ring the register on ROYL last night. People were already on the offer at 11.7 in the aftermarket before Cramer said this. Seems a little fishy since ROYL was known to be a guest on the show earlier in the day...

    CNBC - Cramer's Mad Money

Cramer said to sell ROYL? Did you watch the show last night? By the way, I watched ROYL last night - seemed like people were pretty heavy on the offer before Cramer said anything about buy or sell. Me thinks people might know beforehand what he is going to say.

    Express ACATS via ECN?

Put your orders on ARCA. There is still the possibility of someone sending in a limit buy at 8.01 right when you send in your sell order at 8.00. Very unlikely, but possible.

    Express ACATS via ECN?

What if someone beats you to your own order? Or if you try to take yourself on ISLD but someone has an invisible order in between? Even with the wash sale rule, if you had a profit on the position you would have to pay taxes on it because of this swap. Only if you had a loss would the wash...

    CNBC - Cramer's Mad Money

And coming back to my original point. As I was following his picks, the reason for his bad performance was that he almost invariably kept on buying stocks that just got hammered day after day. He added to losers on a regular basis. He never appeared to use stops. So I find it ironic that...

Ah ok - thanks for the clarification. Better than a savings account.

    CNBC - Cramer's Mad Money

So you are implying that you are ridiculing me. Certainly I can tell by what you have written and the way in which you wrote it that I am almost certain I dislike you. I traded in a portion of my father's account at the time so I saw his account totals everyday. He bought and sold everytime...

    CNBC - Cramer's Mad Money

Your tone makes you come off as ridiculing what I am saying and also ridiculing my father's intellect (i.e., only lesser investors would not save cash for further purchases in a portfolio). I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, however. I guess you'll just have to trust me on this one. My...

    CNBC - Cramer's Mad Money

I saw the results of my father and I saw the results myself. Cramer's portfolio bled its first year. Second, a portfolio should be based on some concrete starting capital so you can mimic that portfolio with your own capital. If Cramer injects capital anytime he feels like it (like when he...
