yeah, I know. the problem is that most stands on the market can only fit up to 24" LCD's. seems digital tigers has a custom made stand that can handle a 30" LCD along with 20-24 surrounding LCD's. any one find a stand that can handle a 30" and 6 total LCD's? I have only been able to find hex...

ironic... I went to the store and viewed an apple 30" screen and didn't like it. at full 2540x1600, everything is too small. I think the text is smaller on the 30 than my 19". but they also had a 32" LCD tv running at 1300x768. I'm leaning back towards a big screen now. I really want to plug...

Thanks again OP. I'll probably end up taking my laptop to sams club to try it out before deciding. I think a 1080p resolution may make it a bit better. we'll see.

my main reason to get 1080p is for the resolution to run on PC, to get the bigger desktop. so 1080 is easy for PC to run in theory.

I'm waiting for the post Christmas, post superbowl drop in price. I see a lot of supply at the stores, and I'm guessing they overstocked LCD big screens for the holidays.

what sold me of going big screen was a dell demo kiosk at the mall. they had a computer hooked up to a 37" LCD. looked pretty good. it's not the size... it's how you use it. ah, porn on big screen...
