i believe questrade clears through penson. penson (used to) not allow (without jumping through hoops) shorting of under $5 stocks unless they were huge companies. conditional, because i've avoided dealing with penson for several years now.

double the number of entries you make, but halve the size of your entries. if you're trading 1000 shares, make it 500 for each.
