    An OPTIONS dilemma!

If you really want to do well with options learn to trade spreads. Put close to at the money calls while selling more of the out of the money calls. Spreads are a lot more liquid on the floor that outright options. rtharp

    Business Names?

MJT Our tax system is set up to help out corporations and tax individuals. So why not take advantage of how we have set up the laws. Owning a C Corp allows you to expense everything you do first before taxes and than let the goverment tax whatever is left for profit. rtharp

Strategies to use 10x (or 20x) leverage with good risk/reward?

Actually another strategy is to be running quite a few uncorrelated systems at once. A short/long trend following system, a channel trading system, an antitrend system, news based, scalping low volatility stocks. I personlly don't do all of these but eventually would like to program a...

I wonder if part of it is "How you reply what you do for a living" I never hear anything bad when I say that I am a daytrader or a stock trader. is the tone in your voice weak when you say that, avoiding eye contact?? rtharp

    Bullets & Conversions

Babak Selling calls isn't getting short. It's unlimited risk on the upside with a small profit buying puts isn't a short position it's limited risk on the upside with huge potential for the downside. There is limited risk/reward on both of the above. But if you sell...

They were under the broker ratings section for awhile but had emailed Baron to be removed. The ratings weren't too great. It would be nice to hear a discussion on them though.

Strategies to use 10x (or 20x) leverage with good risk/reward?

I tend to use my professional leverage with bullets, and high priced stocks. There aren't as many now though as 8 months ago when I was searching for a professional firm. I like to use really tight stops on the volatile over 100 stocks. Arbitrage is done a lot with professional leverage...

New Daytrading rule in September 01'

Bill Lerach knows the NASDAQ system well. He was the attorney that made short term trading really possible. It was his case of the public against the NASDAQ market makers for artificial spreads. He he been in quite a few corporate lawsuits. Exxon Veldez is one I remember quite well. He...

When I started that thread about 10-1 Margin I emailed/called the firms mentioned. There are still a few that have never returned a phone call or replied to an email. That was a red flag to me about the firm. Echo replied within the hour and no matter what I needed was there for me...

    IB and 25K rule

Yes this is off topic so I'll jump in and stop it. $300 per month includes exchange fees for their data vendor for Echo. It is rebated at 300,000 shares. It is also being waived for the rest of the year. If you need an additional data source put it in your wife/girlfriend's...

    Bright Keeping Traders Money

I talked with 2 traders last month who confirmed it. That is their golden handcuff policy. They take 25% of your capital and lock it away for a year collecting interest for themselves. Kinda lousy if you ask me. 5% guaranteed on $100,000 for a year can pay for a few things. rtharp

If you are interested in Echo than try a demo with Echo Call Rob Keller up at the office. 602-977-0777. I can post till my fingers turn red from typing but only you can make the decision evaluate the software yourself. I find it great for everything I do. The reliability is with the...
