Are there any "black swan" type ETFs, etc. out there?

Oh I am fully aware of that TheDawn. Which is why I am looking for alternatives to try and model! You said: " It's so much easier and cost-effective to just hedge against your positions to protect them from any unexpected downturns." That's exactly what I am trying to model! So do any of...

You are probably right on all counts! Still, fun comparing!

Dow versus SP500 versus Naz all time

In several threads, after doing some testing, I posted what beasts the QQQs seem to be versus other ETF/CEFs, etc. But I don't think I've compared them to SPYs or DIAs since their inception. Only more recent times. So I just compared the QQQs and DIAs and SPYs since the inception of the...

    Favorite ETF/ETNs/CEFs for yield

Thanks Mr. Turtle! I'm having a little bit of a problem understanding all that. Who was selling SPY below 50 day moving average, and buying VEA, VWO above moving average? Some kind of WSJ service or recommendation page of something, the "markets page"? And they were selling the former and...

    Intel a buy?

I can see you fundamentally misread what happened in this thread and who started the battle (for like the 61st time, before running off the thread when he can't take any more, just to start it in another thread and lose again LOL).

    Intel a buy?

It does not surprise me at all that he has sent love notes to you and almost certainly many others before me. It would have shocked me if he hadn't LOL.

Are there any "black swan" type ETFs, etc. out there?

If there are, I'd like to test how holding some of them as a minority piece of your account affects performance/drawdown ratios. The only thing I could come up with off hand was UVXY (and other VIX products, but I think it has the highest leverage). I was wondering if maybe holding some small...

    Intel a buy?

LOL, he comes and attacks me in my own threads, I'm going to tell the truth about that fat thing. Its obvious from his posting he is a fat no life having manlet loser, and he implicitly admitted it in several threads. Including literally posting pics of the steroids and growth hormones he was...

    Intel a buy?

LOL, trust me, listen to this fat thing. He sits in his mom's basement eating twinkies and playing video games all day, when he's not stuffing his face, shooting up drugs to try and lessen his inadequacies, and making up fraudulent stories to post about LOL.

    Intel a buy?

Dildo Fatgins, don't give up the fight! Get maybe as little as a few more gallons of HGH in you, and maybe, just maybe, you can defy physics and get that bloated physique up to 5'!

    Aye aye!

    Intel a buy?

Cool story Dildo Fatgins. And thank you for taking the time out of your busy day of stuffing your fat face with anything you can get your hands on, and taking anti-fat thing and anti-manlet drugs, to type that out. Much appreciated!

    Intel a buy?

I don't like that whole thing about how the dividend mutual funds are going to dump them now, but other than that it sounds like all the bad news might be out or close to it. The question is whether it is fully reflected in the stock price. I'm going to guess, given that it is cheaper now than...

    Intel a buy?

Haha there is the trader! So the fact that you can now buy it for less than you could buy it in like 1998 means nothing to you? :)

    Intel a buy?

Agree engineering. I don't know about profit per chip, but I know that Intel released some new chips that are very competitive with the AMD chips generally at low, mid and high ends, generally, both from an absolute performance perspective and a price/performance perspective.
