Or he's trading from another country. If he's canadian, canadian brokerages fully ignore the PDT rule. You can trade equities with as little as $1000 in your account... no issues with any US exchanges either. They just won't open accounts for US citizens...

that's how it's looked to me... CSCO opened at 21.85 (traded lower pre-market and AH yesterday) and now is floating around 22.50 ... we'll see how the day goes. AAPL down around 120, rimm around $83.50... interesting day for sure!!

I thought for sure we'd see a bit of a down day today, but lo and behold, up up up. Obviously it's not a lot of profit in my bag, but a position i'm willing to hold on to long term. If it drops to 4.50 tomorrow, I'm fine with that.... though I sense it's going to be up and down in a 15-20c...

not holding huge, only about 2500 shares, holding for the long term. It'll be interesting to see what happens after 2:15 today.... lots of movement this week, it will be nice if sometime soon it can keep riding momentum and break 5...
