I gather you don't really trade it. Neither do I yet, but judging by the numbers (volume per minute) its not that bad. I trade 1-3 contracts of ES only and would not trade more in YM, so that probably should not be a problem. Just wanted to know how good the fills were.

I like your simulator. It would be great if you could somehow implement stop and limit orders. The market orders only make it too limited for testing my trading strategies.

I too don't think there will be any significant rally because fundamentally there is no reason for it. For the market to rally long term traders and investors would have to take long positions. Why would they do it, just because of war? I believe the market is more likely to rally when the war...

I am considering starting trading YM. I know that the volume for this instrument is not as big as for ES or NQ, but it's been getting bigger and bigger lately. I would like to know how tradable YM is for small lot traders using 2-4 contracts and trading either in the morning or afternoon...

Timewise (which also means as far as their main intraday direction is concerned) they are more often in sync than not, but I agree that their actions differ in details as pointed out by you which can indeed be exploited.

I don't think they are that often out of sync, but I agree that when they are that can be used to trade them.
