    Emini's for $500 margin?

Negotiable are fine, transparent are better. It sucks that they didn't put it on their website.

Big Technical Rally To S&p 880

does not really know what the (in)famous Lundy bottom is. Is it yet another attempt at picking it or what? :D

Dow Emini: how tradable is it?

I gather you don't really trade it. Neither do I yet, but judging by the numbers (volume per minute) its not that bad. I trade 1-3 contracts of ES only and would not trade more in YM, so that probably should not be a problem. Just wanted to know how good the fills were.

    AutoTrader 1.12b is now available

I like your simulator. It would be great if you could somehow implement stop and limit orders. The market orders only make it too limited for testing my trading strategies.

    intraday TRIN alert...

Keep trying Greenie... One fine day you may even get it right and then you will claim your bragging rights for the rest of your life.:D For the time being, however, you can be used only as a pretty reliable contrarian indicator. But that's not bad because most people are not useful for anything.

    War!!! What is good for...

I wish I were under 25, but I am not any longer. Sounds to me that you know it better, so prove that what I said is an absurd. Using facts. You probably also believe that the war in 1991 was to protect US citizens, right? Those who count on a fast victory will be seriously dissapointed...

    War!!! What is good for...

And how many US citizens live in Iraq, tell me? The war has nothing to with protecting US citizens. It may do just the opposite, that is, can bring on new terrorist attacks on the US soil. I can't believe that anyone believes that stupid propaganda crap of going to war on Iraq in order to...

    ES and NQ Trading

Which particular Woodie's setup do you mean? I believe he has produced more than one or correct me if I am wrong. Also, how do you find trading YM? Any problems with the liquidity and spreads? Thanks.

    War!!! What is good for...

I too don't think there will be any significant rally because fundamentally there is no reason for it. For the market to rally long term traders and investors would have to take long positions. Why would they do it, just because of war? I believe the market is more likely to rally when the war...

Difference between playing ES and NQ

1 NQ pt = $20 1 ES pt = $50, so for 0.5 and 0.25 it is $10 and $12.5, respectively. Of course, if your targets are the same for both NQ and ES you would lose more percentagewise, but it makes no sense to use identical targets for them. NQ can easily be used for bigger targets because of...

Dow Emini: how tradable is it?

I am considering starting trading YM. I know that the volume for this instrument is not as big as for ES or NQ, but it's been getting bigger and bigger lately. I would like to know how tradable YM is for small lot traders using 2-4 contracts and trading either in the morning or afternoon...

Difference between playing ES and NQ

Timewise (which also means as far as their main intraday direction is concerned) they are more often in sync than not, but I agree that their actions differ in details as pointed out by you which can indeed be exploited.

Difference between playing ES and NQ

I don't think they are that often out of sync, but I agree that when they are that can be used to trade them.
