Looks like the stupid committee failed, automatic cuts to happen

In the real world when people fail to do their job they get fired. Why should this be any different? There needs to be a huge public push to vote every one of these self-serving shmucks out of Washington and into an orange apron at Home Depot. Forget OWS, it should be just "OW!" (...

Gap fill re-test = scalper's support .... yeah, yeah, yeah, now let's get on with it. Could be range-bouncing, lulling people to sleep to set up for a later swoon once again. Edit: Just saw your question LF. EUR is flatlining at supp., but seems ready to break down.

    Don't forget the R10 was itself a ~50% (29.75 > 11.50).

Agreed. Staying below open is critical imho. I'm watching EUR for clues.

We'll see how it plays out. I see a couple reasons there could be a higher entry, but it seems to be holding for now. ("We" shorted for a scalp initially ... :) .) Edit: btw, good observation yourself on NQ, and thanks for pointing it out.

If the R10 off the RTH low gets sold, I think we should see a new LOD.

No g/f on SPY yet ... could cause it to run up again before the close. EUR looks like it's aiming higher too.

    Trading like a Local

Don't forget that locals pay practically nothing in commissions, and that alone can make all the difference with the kind of scalping you are talking about. I have a friend who trades in the S&P pit, and he makes his living flipping 100 lots for a couple ticks at a time all day long, at...

Looks like some crazy bastards are going for it LF. :D Personally I hate trading into the close on Friday. :) (Edit: I didn't mean you Builder ... just saw your post. It takes a little "crazy" to make money in this business anyway. :) )

I definitely watch SPY, but not for tick by tick comparison with ES (I wouldn't be quick enough to have any edge there). I just look for support/resistance zones to line up in sync with ES ... YM as well.

You're probably right, especially with the high volume on the 1st peak of the DT. It's just that Friday gap fills are a pretty good % bet, and the range, as you mentioned, plays into it as well.

With a little less than an hour left, still time to run it 10 pts (like the 10pt run 1-2pm) for a gap fill. Stranger things have happened. :)

This MFG thing has alot of the locals frozen out of their accounts. Any who are trading today have had to wrangle up funds from another source and find a different clearing firm in order to trade.
