I wouldn't listen to a word the World Gold Council says. I've dealt with them before and it's hard to find a more useless and pathetic organisation. Great at running up expenses, entertaining and thinking they're important I'll give them that, but anything else they do is laughable.

Over the next 50 years Robots are going to turn the world on its head due to job losses. Take construction as a good example. How many of those jobs can be replaced and what are the workers then going to do. It's not going to be pretty if you think about things.

The drug companies are playing a great money game (for them) with ADD. I reckon at least 75% of people taking the drugs don't need them. But there's no money in that. Better to convince people they've got a problem and of course SCARE them and their parents to boot.

I've been hearing that line now for over 2 years as well. One day the jobs will return but it's not going to happen in 2011-2012.
