    Panic 2020

Exactly, I don't disagree with that. That just more goes to the point of there's no way around it, just something that happens like life and death.

    Panic 2020

It's not a mistake, no system is perfect. Everything just like people has life cycles. Things have a start and an end date. It's just the balance of life. You can't have booms without bust because there is no perfect system and we do not have infinite resources.

    The S&P 500 will bottom in 2020 at 2579-2645

Well now I myself am going too deep into this and too much speculation, so please forgive me but I think it's an interesting thought. I don't exactly have a huge sample size, but through multiple avenues I have heard people talking / excited about buying the dip. So, just makes me think...

    The S&P 500 will bottom in 2020 at 2579-2645

To be clear I trade intra-day only and just trade whats in front of me long or short. However, I did vote the second option. We may have some spectacular rallies still left, but overall the probabilities of 2589-2645 holding longer term and starting a new sustained bull move is pretty low...

    News Trading using Futures

Yes you can see patterns, the markets are fractal and the fundamental way price moves has not changed in decades, the fact that indicators are lagging is not an inherent issue. (if you understand how to properly read your indicator(s) / as you said yourself screen time can assist in this)...

The Dow and the S&P 500 Are on the Brink of a Bear Market

I was just being a smart ass with that comment. That was rude of me. My second post was more professional :)

The Dow and the S&P 500 Are on the Brink of a Bear Market

Thank you, that makes sense. I appreciate the reply, often people just post information with no context so I like to know if they actually believe what they're posting or just doing it out of pure boredom/entertainment.

The Dow and the S&P 500 Are on the Brink of a Bear Market

Right, but we've had weeks of pretty obvious selling to take advantage of. I see everyone talking about entering a bear market, but that is for the most part a general main stream consensus with generally everyone agreeing on a relatively close percentage decline. If this is for...

The Dow and the S&P 500 Are on the Brink of a Bear Market

Should I go short once we "confirm" were in a bear market?

You would have better data on that, than I would. So, I wouldn't try to dispute that. But doesn't change my point whether that's true or not because if there's any day traders left, it's not realistic for them to trade a monthly chart if there main source of income is going to be from trading...

I prefer NQ and have better results with it than trading ES. However, with NQ you will make more or lose more than trading ES (I believe roughly 16-22% difference depending on the day / how market is moving) but don't quote me on that. I don't have the exact math.

Oh ok adding daily and weekly in there.. making more sense now. I mean trading a monthly chart, that's 12 bars per year. That seems a little excessive and a little more like managing a retirement account. Not saying he didn't earn the right to do that, but that's not really something the...

In my experience equities are a lot easier to trade and be consistent at than CL. Unless you have some type of edge or particular reason you trade CL. Someone else can jump in and correct me if this isn't their experience as well, but out of all the traders I know only one was really successful...

Spooz -20%.. how have you managed your risk?

I just trade smaller position sizing and a larger chart, since bigger moves simply means larger charts are active and you can actually trade them intra-day since they will generate multiple signals. Of course this means wider stop / profit target (hence the smaller sizing). The...

What's Your trading "edge"? Favorite strategy or pattern

When I say overbought/oversold I am speaking of the velocity of a move in the markets in a certain amount of time that creates means reversion levels, that get filled in most cases intraday (lately that hasn't been the case since such large moves / larger charts it takes them longer to get...
