Do you have another similar computer or one with the same RAM? I would guess that you have a bad stick of RAM in there. If it doesn't go through the boot process at all, then your problems are RAM, a motherboard short, a CPU that is not seated well, etc.

Using private T-1 to Chicago from DC for trading and Verizon for DSL to run charts/internet access. I can't stand cable. Never had good luck with it. 5Mbps down and 1.7Mbps up.
