This (lack of) volatility is making me anxious.

OMFGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG China indices up fucking 20%. INSTINCTIVELY, I WOULD SAY ALL-IN long BITCOIN. Bitcoin dominance at key support, VOLATILITY IS COMING.

    Am I Wasting My Time?

You need to be living to trade, not trading for a living :D Jokes aside, i think the better question is, do you have genuine interest for trading and markets(and yourself)? If so, then go for it. If it's only the money, then don't do it IMO, not worth it.

Is using as many as possible timeframes for same market advantageous?

I guess to each their own. Actually when i only use 4 now, without the 30Min i feel like i miss a lot of setups. So i will experiment, add more screens and see how it goes and try to find a sweet spot. (seems like i have already made up my mind lol...still looking if anyone can say from...

This (lack of) volatility is making me anxious.

Can you imagine? Volatility on BTC has not been this low in more than a year. I can feel it. I don't know what it means. But i hope something is coming

How many traders take screenshots of their charts?

Did not know that existed :) Anyways apparently there is a windows10 in-built feature, Win + Shift + s enables you to screenshot region and copies to clipboard. Don't think there's any advantage, except maybe that i can open it in image editor in one click, ..

How many traders take screenshots of their charts?

I do it all the time. I use Greenshot to take screenshots, gives me a few quirks over the old-school windows screenshot. Can capture the selected region + it can open the picture in image editor where i can add some text to describe the context/my thoughts or whatever and i just paste it into...

Is using as many as possible timeframes for same market advantageous?

So basically i only trade the patterns in the price. I have a screen with 6 charts. Timeframes i use regularly are 5min, 15min, 30min, 1H, 4H and 1D. If volatility appears, i use lower TF. But sometimes for example there will be a pattern or level visible on the 2H chart, that i would not...

Best way to bet with options on NVIDIA going down?

I think everything will tank, not sure why i chose nvidia though. Totally possible that the market keeps up for longer than anticipated and then sells-off very quickly again. SPX500 looks like a very nice top on 6M chart to me. With the second corona wave coming, which is likely to be more...

Best way to bet with options on NVIDIA going down?

I don't know what the implied volatility means. Isn't the vlatility low right now? I mean everything is grinding up slowly/stalling. At the time of the event, i would assume it would be a sharp dump and high volatility though yes. Is selling a call in the money, same as shorting with a stop...

Best way to bet with options on NVIDIA going down?

Basically i want to short NVIDIA. Targeting 30%+ dump, probably even more, think it will dump from here(366$) to below $250. I am pretty sure this will hapen before end of year, perhaps in the next 3 months, but it's hard for me to guess the timeframe. I think it should for sure happen by the...

Bitcoin to drop below $6000 within 10 days

I think i will be heavily loading up on EOS at 2$-2.2$. I have pretty high confidence that it's a very good buy there and that we could get violent pump from there. I know i could be wrong, but i think it's a good opportunity, i'll definitelly be scouting for longs! BTC would have to bottom...

    Book on Market Structure?

In the beginning of my trading i really focused on the structures, and how market "should" be, but you quickly learn that market is a very imperfect place. However, i find it that structures work very well when there is a trend. When a trend is established, holy shit! That's when it works...

    Trading psychology resources

Arlene has some interesting things to say about the brain https://www.youtube.com/user/braingurutaylor/videos https://arlenetaylor.org/ If you don't have the right mindset && the ability to manage you "inner" self ...then trading will give you a very hard time. The mindset is probably the...

Should we use the 200 day EMA or SMA?

Wouldn't know, but as i said for myself, it's just an area of context. Same as with support/resistance.. can't know if it will hold or not, but i view it as an area where buyers or sellers might step in and provide a reaction. Can't just put a moving average on the chart and expect profits though.

Quarterly & Bi-annual Close coming up next week

SP500 futures, Russel 2000 and Nasdaq 100.... 6-month and 3-month charts respectively So yeah, what do you have to say? Still a week till the close. The way SP500 looks, i'd say the next half year could likely be bad, which would make sense with the 2nd Covid wave coming? Still looks like a...

Should we use the 200 day EMA or SMA?

For me it's more so a way of generating setups or to provide confluence. And i see it as a level. Higher lows off of support(200MA) == bullish... Red line is 200MA. Blue is 100, yellow is 20. As i said, i haven't found much use for the other 2, but i'm keeping them for now.... I don't want a...

Should we use the 200 day EMA or SMA?

I would also call 200MA useless prior to having used it. I saw Tudor mention it and i decided to put it on my chart just as an experiment. Found it to be very useful.

Carl Icahn : In corporate world - genius will be punished

It might be a super power, but you can train yourself to stay calm. Learn to breathe properly and focus on breathing. It will calm you down and put you into a relaxed state. It draws you back into to the present, away from worries about the future or mistakes of the past which induce a stress...

Do pro traders still feel that way? When I got stopped out at the low, I am so mad and sad.

Aghh the original post was fine. I always slightly gag reading such posts, because it's how it is and the funny thing is the OP doesn't know what he has coming for him. Daytrading can send you places you didn't know exist. And i don't mean it in a good way :)
