I think I have decided to go with six 24" IPS monitors at 1920x1200 (display port connections). I am leaning towards the Dell UltraSharp U2412m screens, however I would consider other brands. I would ideally like to mount all the screens on a single 3 over 3 desk stand, granted that it would...

    Trading Computer

Good for you dude. Care to post your returns from your stellar iPhone trading? Of course none of this is a necessity to trade, I just like using multiple monitors. I can spend my money however I see fit, however frivolous you think it is.

Thanks for all of the advice. I want to use displayport connections. I believe both the dell and viewsonic have this. I'll look at samsung and LG also.

Regarding monitors; I am still undecided. While I like the look/ergonomics of six screens mounted to a single stand, I realize that this arrangement may be unstable, and of course I would have to limit the size to 24" per screen, maximum. (Dell U2412m) Another option is to go with two...

    Good option platform?

Yeah, IB charges $0.70 per contract for volume <=10,000 contracts per month. If you are trading this that type of size, you probably won't do much better. Once your volume picks up you'll have room to negotiate with most brokers. IB is probably the most suitable for a wide array of traders...

    How "Pros" size their trades

Perhaps our definitions vary. When I say "edge," I don't mean guaranteed profits, or some type of arb. It's simply a way to find and evaluate trades, they can still go against me. Basically; market price minus theo value = +/- edge

    How "Pros" size their trades

I can quote quantifiable edge for each trade I do. If there was no edge I wouldn't make any money.

    How "Pros" size their trades

I use kelly criterion to size trades for the most part. Size your trades commensurate with edge. The larger the edge, the larger the size.

Good to know. I have a Planar triple monitor stand now that is rock solid and very adjustable. I just wish they made one for six monitors.

I know ergotron makes a good product. But I don't think they make a 6 monitor stand (3 over 3). Unless you use three vertical dual monitor stands.

Option traders...what do you use for futures?

IB, but considering moving to advantage futures.

    What to read after Natenberg?

With all due respect, trading/market psychology is bs. Focus on finding trades with edge, and suddenly you will be in the right mindset.

    Good option platform?

Like others have mentioned; more info is needed. What type of trader? (pro, customer, etc) Any other products besides options? Do you require any sort of analytics, what-ifs, etc? Commissions? How much capital are you working with? IMO with options commissions are of primary...

    Trading Computer

Now that I have ordered the computer (build is completed, it's ready to ship - I should have it in about a week). I am now ready to add some monitors: I am currently using three Viewsonic 22" 1920x1080 monitors with a Planar stand. I am thinking I would like to go to six screens. I am...

***Must have*** cooling pad for laptop

I also use a T420s in a docking station. Mine runs really warm at times. Have you done something to address that issue? Albeit, I am running three monitors from it. I use tpfancontrol and have adjusted the power/fan settings, to no avail.

    Smallest subnote on the market?

I have seen some Sony note/ultrabooks that have what you need, but I think the smallest they go is 11" now.
