    SEC charges GS with fraud

You may be right when the smoke clears the air, but the public is clearly in a foul mood after another f^$!% Wall Street "crisis".

SEC Democrats voted in favor of suing Goldman, Republicans against it

US needs "selective reform" without taking a wrecking ball to the free-market. This BS all started with derivatives and their spawn CDS along with no Glass-Steagall. GS needs to take their medicine. Lehman and Bear are gone. I don't think the current crop of legislators are up to the job on...

    SEC charges GS with fraud

There has been a foul odor eminating from the IBs for a decade. Lehman and Bear gone. It is about time the SEC got around to GS. Wait for the court case before making a judgement, because you never know.....................

I see it now. Anyway "bushite" is a one-trick pony. Reminds me of Jack Nicholson in "One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest".

And one can clearly see why the two parties want to keep the anger of the tea baggers under control. Too late. John Q. Public is pissed. This has the potential to be the flip side of what happened in the 1960s.

Do you think Americans are stupid?

I have to agree with this comment. Increasing Federal control over the public school system in the US, has left it in tatters. This trend began before Woodstock and has only become progressively worse. One F3$6% up country, agreed!

Countries other than the U.S. might now be interested in investigating Goldman Sachs.

This sounds like it is getting serious. Maybe those short sellers that had to back off in fall '08 will get a second chance.

Grinding it out, day after day

Yes he is mentally tough, net through end of March 200,000 and lost almost half of that in 1 day. I am sure he will make it back in no time. Great thread as it shows what traders go through.

    Express your point of view...Please!

If the business plan has good prospects and chances of success are favorable, go for it, especially if your are still in your prime. You can lengthen the time frame on your trading while you wait to see if the business pans out.

Grinding it out, day after day

What if this had happened back in Oct. '08? Your system sounds very sophisticated by the sheer volume you are trading. Maybe that is why I remain a small lot trader, there is not enough ice water running in my veins and the emotional hangover is just too hard on me.
