    Visitor Message

Just by accident I came across the (new?) Visitor Message function and found that someone had sent me a message a few weeks ago. Before, and I guess still now, you would get a notification if you received a PM. But I didn't get a notification for the VM. If such a function could be added for...

Ah, it looks as though you sent the message to me thru the Visitor Message function rather than the Send Message in the Control Panel, and I guess that's why I wasn't notified.

FREE MultiCharts Advanced Charting Now Available through TWS

By 'side by side', if you mean run the applications separately, then yes. They are not running as one application. I don't know if there's a way to run MC within TWS. But you can detach a MC chart and plot it on top of TWS next to the DOM. MC also has its own DOM.

FREE MultiCharts Advanced Charting Now Available through TWS

I just installed the latest TWS version and there is no lag. When do you expect tick and second data to be available in MC? Thank you

FREE MultiCharts Advanced Charting Now Available through TWS

While the charts are light years ahead of those in TWS, there is too often a time lag. For example, running MC next to TWS charts for NK225MM4, MC often lags by 1 to 5 seconds.

If you don't mind doing the exchange settings, I've been using this free alarm clock for years without trouble. But maybe the Hot Alarm Clock in the lower right of the page would better meet your needs for holidays. http://freealarmclocksoftware.com/

Bloomberg data reliability for index futures

You may find it hard to believe but both BB and Reuters include rollover date in their data feeds for Nikkei, Topix and JGB futures without it being flagged. Of course, rollover data combined with actual trades makes any analysis impossible. I discovered this fault a while back. You may want to...

Easy edges in the markets for retail participants?

I've been trading the 'flags' you mentioned for 40 years based solely on the pattern itself without any 'real world info.'. And I can assure you that in the vast majority of the cases, the supply and demand that created the flag continues on leading to the desired result. Moreso than any other...

    Best chart color scheme?

I'm not on my trading computer now on which I use eSignal charts. The attached is from a local broker's program and the colors are not clear at all in this attachment. The green is really a bright green, not dull as it is here. And the blue gridlines here are also too dull.

    Best chart color scheme?

That's good advice. When you guys get older you'll find that it takes longer for your eyes to refocus.

    Best chart color scheme?

Can't really say that I've ever experienced that. I'll give your B&W a try tomorrow and see. I think the color and shade of the gridlines is also important. On a black background with green bars I use dark blue gridlines. It sort of gives the bars a 3D look. As least it does for my old eyes.

    Best chart color scheme?

As an ex-Marine sniper I use a black background with green bars. Before taking the shot we were trained to focus on something green to rest the eyes. And many years of screen time has proven that to be a good combination.
