short 36, targeting 33.50's for a start.

That was the thickest ask I've seen in a while. Thousands hitting the ask at 40.50's, and it just held strong at 4K.... very interesting. I have an open 3 pt. target at 41's (41.25's trade), but it looks like I might have to close it before EOD.

I think if we can revisit 39.75's we'll pop to the top of the profile, but aside from that I've got nothin'...

Yes. So far just one -600 and then more recently a +600. Also, the move to target is USUALLY not too far from a close in one direction or the other. The market is a bit too slow for me to read all that well. I've been long twice, but I keep flattening.

The TICK is compressing, which usually happens on brutally slow days, or on reversal weeks....

I have found that the method described above, as well as buying the first 50% pullback after a trend break, to be the easiest way to enter a trade with a small stop.

Pretty large target hit in my view on the daily chart (CrazyA would be proud that I'm using the SPX chart).

39.75's should hold if we are going to keep heading up. I'm done for the week, but I'll bet some SIM Ferrari's on it.

Looks very much like a classic resistance turned support from here. I think there is a chance of a test below, but I'll be keeping an eye out for one of my long setups from this area. Target would be at least 6 points and a break to new highs. I don't think we'll get that today, but we'll see.

LOL! I love the conviction man. You do tend to be pretty quiet on the days where the market gaps down and then falls from the open. What is your trade management approach for those types of days? Do you have a max stop loss in the event that the market just gaps and goes?

Target hit in AH. Well it looks like we have a couple of ledges above us, so definite resistance within a tight range. Ultimately the real deal resistance to me seems to be around 21.50's.

I'm aiming for a full 3 points to 10.50's.
