MSNBC Guest: Blames Chicago Gun Violence On ClimateChange

Let's all chip in and afford Ricter the opportunity to "study" this phenomenon between climate change and violence in Chicago. We can set him up in a bungalow on the west side of Chicago and he can interact with the locals and test his theory out in the community.

Can't Cut Postal Service - 20% Of Employees Are Black

It's basically the same scenario in every large public sector entity with enormous legacy costs. There is just no possible way to generate enough growth to pay for the legacy benefits. Meanwhile, the taxpayer and the consumer (oftentimes with little alternative due to their monopoly nature)...

One Man's Reaction To Obama's/Brown's Tax Increases

Truth be told, and I'm betting Phil has already worked this out...but I bet that he can still retain some of his endorsement deals and play in a handful of Majors and probably still make a big chunk of change. I don't remember the exact numbers, but a few years back he was in the 60-70mil+...

Pro Golfer: Why Work with a 63% Tax Rate ?

The liberal will never admit that he/she is a liberal. It starts there and grows into an endless supply of hypocricies and contradictions.

One Man's Reaction To Obama's/Brown's Tax Increases

You hit the nail on the head. Phil also has to battle with arthritis, which for a professional golfer, could be a career ender. My guess is that he had one foot out the door already and the tax hit was all he needed to say that he will play a very limited schedule or possibly retire...

Thanks for injecting your brand of political correctness into yet another thread.

Health Insurance Premiums Spike In Anticipation Of ObamaCare

I certainly don't blame him for all the ills in the world, BUT I do take notice of how quickly he was let off the hook for abandoning many of his initial campaign promises in the same manner as Dubya 8 years earlier. All I continue to see is the flipside to the 8 year disaster of Dubya...the...

MLK day- a celebration of failure

Of course you are right...I just cannot fathom the mindset of the typical liberal plebe. Are they really so stupid and/or naive? I understand why the average welfare living black wants to continue these policies and I understand why the local power consolidating politician wants to continue...

Pro Golfer: Why Work with a 63% Tax Rate ?

Yes, a part of it has to do with earning everything they make on their respective tours (i.e. no guaranteed multi-million dollar contracts before they step foot on the course). On the other hand, few people realize how much those guys bank on endorsement deals, it literally dwarfs whatever...

Pro Golfer: Why Work with a 63% Tax Rate ?

Completely agree...but this is how many liberals try and talk around the truth about the "total tax burden". When I hear them go on the full court press about returning to some Clinton era tax rates, I want them to take a look at the COMPLETE tax picture..figure out every single tax you pay in...

Pro Golfer: Why Work with a 63% Tax Rate ?

He lived in Arizona awhile back, but he's been living in Rancho Sante Fe (I believe, not 100% certain), for at least the past 10 years. He grew up in San Diego, so it's probably to be near his parents.

MLK day- a celebration of failure

Mav88...you would probably agree that the true costs of this failed culture are completely underestimated. We can readily find all of the direct costs (i.e. the social welfare state), but we cannot even begin to fathom what a massive drain it is running all the prisons, the added cost to...

MLK day- a celebration of failure

Let the black community straighten out their own mess. They've been given more than enough resources for several decades now...and yet time and again they squander it. Your solution is to continue this charade, hoping that somehow if another untold billions are "thrown at the problem" that...

Pro Golfer: Why Work with a 63% Tax Rate ?

I suppose he has some exorbitant travel costs (albeit with his own private jet and flight crew), lodging, caddie expenses, etc, etc...but even with some padded business expenses, the guy was raking in something in the vicinity of 60-70 million per year when you include all of his endorsement...

Pro Golfer: Why Work with a 63% Tax Rate ?

There is a very good reason just about every guy on the PGA Tour lives in either Texas or Florida. 20-30 years ago it wasn't uncommon for those guys to live in California, but I'm almost certain that there has only been a handful of guys that claim California for residency on their taxes. One...

Pro Golfer: Why Work with a 63% Tax Rate ?

Pretty doubtful. I'm sure he pays less than the stated rate, but he gets hit on state taxes in every state he collects prize winnings (which is one of many reasons some top earners will skip the high tax states like Hawaii and California for tour events), amongst other states.
