How to keep track of trades when scaling in and scaling out

Depends if your platform has a function to date and time stamp entries. If so, your can annotate what your platform records. Also, check if your platform has a function that can mark entries and exits on your chart. Most platforms have that function.

Are the 50sma and the 200sma support and resistance on intraday charts?

Not an indicator guy, but using a simple 3 day swing works just fine compared to looking at higher time frames. Not sure why an intra-day trader would look at a weekly or monthly chart when he's trying for short term moves regardless of what the long term trend is doing.

Some could improve their finances by moving to a new location. As an example.. Californians in the 32% Federal tax bracket are also paying an 11% State tax. I have no idea how anyone can afford to live in that State. Regardless of their reasons, people live with paying such onerous taxes...

Wow, SimpleMeLike Your statement about a spouse is unable to help in trading is incredibly untrue. I think maybe you mean, a man needs to have the right wife, and one who is supportive in his trading endeavors to be of help. Making a general statement like that is not very intelligent sir. I...

Hi Noah, My wife is 100% supportive and trades also. As for leaving my wife, I'd give up trading before I would ever consider leaving my wife. My cat is crazy, even if you shut the door it growls like a lion at the door. But it's something we've learned to deal with. Appreciate your insight.

Hi there SimpleMeLike, I like your attitude about winning every day. I also find your perspective about losing interesting. A book that resonates with me when it comes to handling losses is Tom Hougaard's book "The Best Loser Wins". If you haven't already, you might find it an interesting read.

This is of course just my humble opinion (I'm trying to be humble):) The more I trade the more I realize I'm not just trading the markets, but trading against myself or with myself. The end of last year I started making some bone head mistakes and went into a slump. Part of my strategy is to...

Hi DFrancesa, If a million traders told you it's a fantastic strategy would it influence you to use it? If a million traders told you that strategy does not work, would it influence you not to try it? Ok, now let's get a little more deep. If the majority of traders are on the losing side of...
