    Need help with math

I'm considering price and time as one unit within a multi-dimensional perspective. Waves are not linear, but are bodies in motion, as are all forms of energy. Since all orbits move in an elliptical motion, once price and time is formulated into one measure, that measure can be used to pinpoint...

You are close. There's a TRIANGLE in every significant price move between major Highs and Lows. Simply take a look at the M & W patterns for reference. Hint: A chart records price and time in 2D Question: Does price, or any form of energy move only in 2D?

Convertible bonds the best instrument to learn about the markets?

This would be an understanding I'm not familiar with. It's an interesting idea, but in my philosophy of trading, anything that directs me away from my strategy is just noise. My old mentor taught me a method to identify patterns in futures and use price and cyclic analysis to trade them...

Convertible bonds the best instrument to learn about the markets?

I think the best instrument to learn about the market is the instrument you plan on trading or investing. I'm not looking at bonds to trade futures.

3 Bar technique. To determine directional bias. Weekly chart illustrated below of 3 weeks. High, Low, and 50% balance level If price is above balance level - bias is UP If price is below balance level - bias is DOWN I use this on the 30 minute chart, but looks effective on the daily and...

What is Overtrading & What Causes It?

I'll have to politely disagree. There have been many times I patiently waited for a setup, was a successful trade, and was 1 and done for the day. In the past I would have continued trading and lost my winnings.

Tired of losing money every trading day

The financial markets is between Smart money and Dumb money. Smart money consistently takes money out of the pockets of Dumb money. Smart money has learned by experience they simply need to practice what Dumb money refuses to practice. Dumb money will not practice.. # Adequate education and...

You're watching for a signal, is it justified from previous results? 1 trade does not make for a strategy.

I'm looking after a reviewer for my trading system

5% compared to systems that really make money is a very low % Just peruse your eyes at these champion traders, who earn anywhere from 100% to 800% (Most institutions would hire anyone of them) https://www.worldcupchampionships.com/world-cup-trading-championship-standings

Improve Your Trading: "More of.... Less of"

Ahh yes, redefining goals and aspirations in trading. As an avid reader I'm enjoying more trading education on fractals, harmonics and Elliot waves. My old mentor taught me the mirror effect, which is technically the same thing without the fancy names. Funny how everyone claims you can't...

    Do You Actually Enjoy Trading?

I sincerely love it. A long time before I started trading for profits, I'd read dozens of books on the subject, along with intense study of charts. If I never made a dime, I'd still enjoy the process.

TradeStation technique for those who enjoy trading patterns. I used the AB-CD as an illustration, but all the major patterns, i.e. double top/bottoms, reversals, etc, can be clearly identified using this technique.
