Professional feeds/software (i.e. Bloomberg, Reuters, CQG)?

Bloomberg is about $2000 per month. CQG is about $800 per month. Anybody know how much does Reuters cost?

Realtick doesn't offer quotes on foreign stocks and futures.

Professional feeds/software (i.e. Bloomberg, Reuters, CQG)?

Add about $200 per month; CQG net is about $600 and Pronet is about $450. I have used both and I do recommend them. CQG just has more tools. I've never used Bloomberg.

    Bond Futures

My decision to go long was not based on any fundamental data or any emotional "desire" to own bonds. I'm looking at the market as a potential trade ... that's it. Admittedly I have taken long positions but I continue to keep tight stops. After getting long very early in the trading day (...

    Bond Futures

Tuesday July 8 trading carved out a high and a low which I will use as a signal to enter a trade. The high was at 115'24 and the low was 114'16 or there abouts in Sept Bond contract. I am using that range as a key to entering my next trade. I'll buy/sell on a breakout of that range. As this...

    Bond Futures

Amen brother. I found myself getting caught up trying to trade bonds like I trade eminis ... and it just doesn't work. After an attempt at a counter trend buy signal yesterday didn't work I realize what your saying is indeed true. I took a loss buying sept bonds at 116'20 on what I thought...

    Bond Futures

In fact the sept bonds are so oversold that I have taken long position (short term/scalp) at 115'20 in anticipation of a bounce back to 116.

    Bond Futures

The Sept Bond is oversold for the short term. It will take an oversold bounce in order for me to get short again. I think that the risk of putting on new short positions is too high at this time, unless you use a large stop. A multiday rally for a couple of points would be just what I'd be...

    Bond Futures

The fact is that on Friday when the market is making it's low no one knows that those prices are the lows. In addition, at that time I had sitting on a 4+ point profit. (Short since 120'16). The market could have done any number of things (go up, go down, stay the same) when it was at 116'16...

    Bond Futures

Just proof of the fact that watching the money can force a person to make silly trading decisions. I continue to feel that the bonds have topped out and the market direction is down. The challenge is how to stay short even though the market is going against you. In hindsight (of this...

    Bond Futures

Honestly, I just got caught looking at the money. Watching my profits erode got the best of me. I had been expecting the market to run up to the 118 level (neckline), so I got long for a couple of minutes (points). My long trade was a based on a discretionary breakout up signal. After...

Reverse position in US bonds. Stopped out of my short at 117'16. Initiated a new long position at 117'24. Bonds are in an uptrend from the 116'16 lows since Friday.

    j trader

I have heard of ffasttrade, but haven't heard any comments from anybody who uses that platform. I am somewhere in between jtrader and xtrader. I'd like something better than jtrader, yet I'm not willing to pay $1400 per month for xtrader.

Sept bonds closes strong and have a positive feel on today, Monday. Dropping profi-taking trailing stop to just above Monday's and Friday's highs.
