I agree, so if you're already long any dip here might just mean you're an early bird. Sweet spot for me would be 25-32, maybe 22, but that might be stretching it. Should get at least a 50% g.f. Monday, I would think.

Do not sit down...stand up while trading...

I didn't read that entire article so hope I'm not repeating, but consider this as well - I just read recently that sitting is bad for your prostate. I'm not sure whether "the ball" can get around that fact, not that any of you spring chickens should have to worry about it just yet. Everything...

Intellectual property is dying. Even current movies can be had for free.

No kidding. Maybe drama will be bombed back to the stone age like the music industry was, where live performance is where the only money is for the artists any more ('cept for the elite few at the very top).

    Fulltime trading weird experience

I agree with the guy who said to tell people you're semi-retired. That's what I do, although I don't hesitate to say I'm trading as well. As far as how to fill your time, I don't know if anyone mentioned this but consider teaching something you did in your "former life", or tutoring -...

Of course it's none of my business, but maybe since he's missed so many entries lately he decided not to cancel this time. Apparently he doesn't ALWAYS cancel because this time he didn't. Anyway, odd as the strategy might be I think emg deserves credit for the trade no matter what anyone...

emg you need to scale in 1 pt early with ONE share of SPY, just so you can say you didn't miss the trade! :(

50% gap fill achieved. So will range expansion be upside or downside? My guess is the 1st upper channel line on SPX will at least be tagged. Also VIX has lower S/R to be tested.

Vol, might work but 67 (possibly 62) is a MM from the NFP drop ... 98-80 (or 75, 1st RTH low), 85 - 67 (62). (Edit: took out that part about it being working ... lost track of your entry when I wrote it ; still, I think a 67 add looks reasonable, if it gets there.)

I wasn't criticizing at all, and hope you didn't take it that way. I just wondered where you were coming from, is all. Thanks. :) And I agree, the reactions often have little to do with the numbers, which is why I personally rarely bother knowing them or trying to figure out why the market...

Not to be a smartass, but how do you tell the difference on a chart between a pre-determined move and one that was not pre-determined, and how would you trade them any differently?
