    *Simulated* Trader P/L 2007

I am sure there is a noticeable difference between real and paper trading, but not everybody has the extra $10 grand to blow on education and then another $10 grand to refine it. I cannot speak for all who paper trade, but personally, so far it had helped me a lot. It allows me to implement...

When does one start trading big

You are 100% right. I'd rather be dragged through the mud than see my P/L in negative territory. I have tasted a 20K loss once in my life and it shook me up in more ways than one. (no it was not trading or gambling). :D :D :D

When does one start trading big

This is exactly what I was trying to convey, namely that if i can catch a market in a state of extreme break out. Getting that 1 point with huge amount of contract (100) should be less risky than hustling 10 contracts all day long trying to make the same amount as with that 1 point with 100...

I appreciate your help even if it is a little bit skewed in its delivery. Funny you should mention Colombia. When does one start trading big

I agree, and I know the market will teach me a thing or two and take my dollar or two. This is why i am trying to get as much information as I can before I get my trading feet wet. Consequently,I tend to float ideas that my seem irrational, amateurish and dare i say it: moronic, but I assure you...

DAY 11 I guess this was my own little Stalingrad. 9 points in the hole. When the day ended could not believe my eyes. So for the day I am down around $500. I feel distraught and it is only papertrading. Lessons learned today: 1. Concentrate on what you are doing. Tell people to fuck...

Why hard work never made anyone rich

Having a government that is there for most of Americans and not for the top 10% + the corporations, would be a start. Having corporations pay their fair way of taxes would also help, you know the way it is done in Scandinavian countries for example. The list go on.....
