    Bandwidth Usage

Just running TOS shouldn't be using anywhere near 80gb per month. All it is doing is sending price data. I use Ninjatrader and at best for one product (6e) level two data I am using under 200mb per day. Think about it; you are 19 days into the month and used 80GB? That is 4.21GB per day. How...

    Anyone purchased Fulcrum Trader course?

I use Rancho Dinero for my footprint charts and it also has a "Volume pack". I use something called "Delta force" which is nothing more than the bid/ask difference displayed as a candle at the bottom of my charts. It also displays the current bar statistics including Cumulative delta, Current...

    Anyone purchased Fulcrum Trader course?

If one were to really want to read the book they could just type "PDF" after the title. (I didn't want to post the link due to possible TOS violations) Nope; the "delta" Wilder wrote about isn't the same thing.

    Anyone purchased Fulcrum Trader course?

Delta is another term for net volume I suppose. There is nothing mysterious about it; it is just another tool to look at momentum. I have not looked at the book you mention; I don't see how anyone could fill an entire book on the volume delta.

    Anyone purchased Fulcrum Trader course?

I am looking into his stuff; thank YOU for bringing it up. I will not likely buy anything from him but I intend to watch his video's in my free time just to see what his take on delta is. I use delta on my footprint charts as it is a good way yo keep track of total buys/sells and the imbalance...

    Anyone purchased Fulcrum Trader course?

The Delta he is using is the difference between market buy orders vs market sell orders. If there are 128 market buy orders on a bar and 57 market sell orders the Delta of that bar is +71. Delta is essentially market imbalance. There is even a platform called "Marketdelta". Keeping an eye on...

    Anyone use a 32" or 34" monitor?

HDMI 2.0 supports 3840 x 2160. That is what I use for my 4k monitor.

    Turning $500 into $100,000

How are you going to get around the pattern day trading rule? I am not too familiar with the rules since I don't trade stocks; don't you need a 25k account?

Fast & Furious assault rifle was owned by El Chapo

OK. :banghead: Wrong termonolgy. I should have said 50 bmg rifles are difficult to shoot rapidly. Yes, Barrett makes a semi-auto version however it would be difficult to throw multiple rounds at a helicopter accurately even with the magazine full. You would have to find the target in your scope...

Fast & Furious assault rifle was owned by El Chapo

Obviously the article is sensationalist. The 50bmg rifles are not made for "taking down helicopters" ; anyone that has ever fired one knows this. A single shot rifle weighing up to 30 pounds empty and 40 pounds with a full magazine is not made for taking down helicopters. "Could it"? Yes, a very...

Up $1240 (sim) over the past ten weeks in this trade room, should I join?

I have changed my mind. You should go ahead and join the trading room and buy the proprietary indicators. It seems as if you believe.

    Let's Talk Strategy

I disagree about liquidity IN THE FUTURES MARKET ONLY. The more limit contracts at each level the less volatile the trading will be. Compare CL to ZB. CL is extremely volatile due to lower levels of limit orders. The ZB moves like molasses due to large quantity of limit orders at each level. In...

    Let's Talk Strategy

I am an intraday trader and ONLY trade one instrument (6e). I don't know why relevant news would cause "volatility" to spike in one market but dry up in another. Seems to me news is released at a specific time and if it is to have an influence on a market it would happen right away in ALL...

    Let's Talk Strategy

I trade the 6E futures. You mean to tell me you never see the limit orders pull to less than half the normal quantity before an important news release? That's usually when I have an "oh shit" moment; when the DOM gets thin. It means I forgot about a news release.

    Let's Talk Strategy

I never trade news. Liquidity dries up and you WILL be slipped. What is the "strategy"? Place a buy stop above and a sell stop below? Good luck because you are trading against the Algo's colocated at the exchange. To me it doesn't make any sense considering in any given day there are plenty of...

    Let's Talk Strategy

I think there is a misuse of terms. Fundamental analysis is an effort to determine the intrinsic value of a security. Daytrading is the buying and selling of securities on the same day, often online, on the basis of small, short-term price fluctuations. Are you sure that what you call...

    one more decimal on 6E?

So far I'm liking it. I think this might be a good thing for retail traders. Many people stayed away today just by looking at the orderbook. The volume today was 163,551 and last week it didn't go below 188,488 so it was about 13% less volume than normal.

    Let's Talk Strategy

You clearly said you were "Day trading". Intraday trading is just another way to say it. The term "fundamental analysis" threw me; I associate that with long term investors and the works of Graham and Dodd. Sounds like you are trading news events in equities.
