Of course the "correct" way to trade an IPO is to let it form a proper base first, and then Buy the Breakout. Will wait for that now, before adding on any more contracts. But I wanted to have a go at "Bottom Fishing" first - just for fun. A very small initial purchase, so not much risk...

Cool. More risk = more reward. How LOW will it go? $13.80? After FB finds a bottom (mid to low 20's?), I'm hoping 7-8 months is enough time for Zmuckface & Co. to figure out a way to monetize and make it go back up! We'll see. :)

Opened a small initial position today in Facebook, with FB @ 27.19. (via Bull Put Credit Spread) Bet: FB will close @25 or higher on 01/18/13. Possible Net Gain: 79.63% :)

Don't get this yet, but I did a Graveyard Shift last night.... Will come back to it later. AAPL broke through 575 on a very RED day for the Market - lots of Relative Strength. But I think we'll need some good news from Europe for AAPL to break north of 600. We'll see. :cool:

You sold naked calls and want AAPL to go up? Hope the Strike is 700 and they expire in June..... Don't get this: "I plan on selling some out of the money calls for a free trade." ??? Bear Market Signal sounds interesting.... :)

That would be nice. Then comes the 50 day MA at 589, and of course the big round number 600! Do you have any positions/bets on with AAPL?

Yes s4b, today canceled out some of the paper losses in the July 620/615 Spread. A good day indeed, but still a long ways to go. 575 still holding as resistance.... My rules give me until 06/20/12 (i.e. 30 days before Expiration) to decide what to do: Hold, Adjust, or Close. Will be watching...

I think AAPL is OK. This was an orderly pullback - a nice Bull Flag. What's needed is some resolution in Europe (a band-aid fix will do!), and then the Buyers will return. I hope.... :p

But it's so much fun to Speculate about the Latest Fad! Anyway, still waiting for the Options to become available on the 29th. Will decide then about a possible SMALL longer term position, if the Expiration Dates go out far enough. This puppy could go sideways for quite a while, in a Gray...

Don't have a position yet actually. Still watching. Just don't think it's a black & white 100% Bearish situation. So I wouldn't write them off just yet. They have all that money, all those customers (+ potential customers), and all that brain power behind them. All they need is 1 or 2...

AAPL's first attempt to break through 575 failed yesterday, and it doesn't look like it plans on trying again today. I get out of losing Spreads 60-30 days before Expiration, so have until 06/20/12 to decide on the July 620/615 Bull Put position. We'll see what kind of mood AAPL's in next...
