IB losing the edge in commissions!

I have to admit the customer service of the firm I used with J-Trader was great. Whish IB would have service like that (But it's almost impossible with that difference in number of customers...) Overall, I'm not advertising for IB, I reacted on someones quote that Patsystems would give you...

IB losing the edge in commissions!

Ditch, if you're referring to J-Trader, than my advice to you is to look into J-Trader before you start out. I traded using J-Trader a while ago, and unless they fixed some major bugs, I will not use it again. Bugs - "Disapearing trades" , "Very slow response to cancelling orders" , "execution...

    IB Question??

I think it might be easier (and maybe cheaper) to sell your current positions and reopen them in your IB acct. If you cannot affort that at once, you can do it part by part. (sell part of your position, open same position with IB, transfere money from old broker to IB, repeat)

    Sick of trading against computers

If you're not trading for cents, you might consider entering one tick above/below programs. Use a very tight stop in case programs don't come in. You will loose some on your performance but it's better than sitting aside ..... I noticed my pairs / spread trading has become somewhat less...
