yes you are right , my chart shows the gap filled , but on a after 4:00 pm candle( overnight data then ).That means I'll have to look at different charts to find gaps ( other than my mine).

tradersaavy, on my charts there is no gap on the ES on the 13th. On the YM chart shows a gap , but it was closed the same day. Same thing for the NQ. Will the gap still have significance?

Yes by different perspective i meant candle pattern with underlying volume. attached is bearish engulfing pattern on the same chart. On the ES the S1 at 1133 worked well as a reversal point. On the NQ .....S2 at 1532, at a much lower level. Unfortunately I had data problems with esignal today and could only depend on the YM data.......others just froze.

Yes you can trade stocks in your account, but only a small % can be with US stocks, the majority is to be with Cdn companies or Cdn funds. The best opportunites can be found in the US ( only my opinion from what I found )

thanks for sharing that Db, I can see your point about the NQ having more of a range. Took the short on the ES premarket this morning at 1110 and covered at 1107. Not much action. You are using the ES to confirm action (at the pivot)before the trade , I assume?

On the ES for tommorrow the pivot is 1108, R1-1110, and S1-1107. Not much of range there to play with either , but we'll see how it goes. Volume is light anyway. You're right about the divergences on the ES but the trend is still up, so I want to be trading to the long side unless proven wrong.

Db, On the ES , the pivots I had today........1113 R1 and 1103 as the pivot was not very useful. The one's you have on the NQ was more applicable. Therefore there was not a high probability trade for me today. One would have to be nimble on the ES today , so for me ,why even bother?
