Less trades for more consistent results has worked for me. Only trade the ES when all the stars align. This means rarely more than 3 trades per day and very few trades in the afternoon unless we have a volatility spike and u see the afternoon reversals. I can go days with no trades when...

Nice double bottom forming on the 60 min and 4 hr charts. Good swing potential for new yearly highs here Edit: still needs to break the trend line on the hourly to truly be bullish though.

That's certainly what they did yesterday on an intraday level. I placed the short yesterday right after they ramped it up, and started to push it down yesterday afternoon at about 1993. I saw the buy stops get hit and knew that would fuel the momentum down.....bc that's how the s&p works. I...

I'm expecting a range day between 1983-1992. If we trade above or below those levels, it will make me change my game plan.

When is the premiere ?

Next spot I'll be looking is the 1998 area for a long. Playing this downtrend after yesterday's strong upside move is too risky for me although the higher time frames are beginning to show good confirmation of shorts. We will have to break 1992 to scare a few bulls.

What is your reasoning behind 2000 ? If this can break 97, I have 2002-2004 as next sticking point. Thoughts ?

I get the feeling one of two things have just happened.....they pushed it back down hard so that it can have better momentum for this possible reversal up, OR they are pushing this up to trap more longs and have better momentum down. Either way, sloppy price action needs a move like this to...
