They have. But it's because they recognize the people want one thing and are getting another. They are seizing on this as a political opportunity, no doubt.

No, I don't think that at all. I think most Americans see her as somewhat kooky, and certainly lacking on the intellectual side but we don't see her as a militant, nazi terrorist inspiring speaker like it would seem she's being seen by some on this forum. We agree with a lot of what she says...

Again, not necessarily from the viewpoint of the average American. but certainly from the European viewpoint, perhaps the Canadian viewpoint (if you and some others here are a valid sample of the populist thought in Canada). Again, not that it's wrong or right. just different.
