    IB and Futures

That's not correct. IB is great for trading any products they offer; the platform can be clumsy and haver limited features for very active traders but many front-end application can alleviate the problem. I trade futures with them and I am very happy.

    My Story- Lessons learned

You are 44 yo and yet u brag about your millions, if u had some intelligence u would have not posted details of your business that quite frankly are very private: I learnt nothing from your post other than you are arrogant beyond belief. Best of luck with the next big hole in your account.

    Dirty Dealin?

If they can't f**k up your trades they will try to defraud your account, maybe adding transactions you never made or making your losses look even bigger in your statements. This is a no brainer mate, stay away from spot forex dealers, spreadbetting and cfds.

48 pages of examination/information on the Plunge Protection Team.

There were no anywhere near enough informations at the time about the dead, the whereabouts of the bombers and the possibility that further and more devastating attacks where coming.

whats your risk tolerance? (day traders)

I never use stp losses: when I am in a position that's going against me I try get a grasp at the range and wait patiently for the best price possible (under the circumstances) to get out; this way many trades that would have ended as losers with a fixed stop are instead closed with a very small...

    traders who are deeply religious

This is exactly the reason why I despise so much those who 'practice' religion: they believe they have not to worry if they sin because all they need is praying "atto di dolore" and they will be forgiven. I mean, is it better to repent by doing some good or by chanting mumbo jumbo for 20min?

    Luck of buying power

Yes, u need a decent amount of capital to be or become profitable. Obviously not to trade size but in order to give yourself room to maneuver: scale in and out, hedge, and to survive the series of running losses u are bound to experience. if u cant make money with one lot for sure u cannot make...

With less than $1400 u can buy a couple of cinema monitors 20inch HD or one 23inch. Worth spending $200 more and get high quality stuff imo.

What about aapl widescreen monitors? They are years ahead in term of design and beat the competition hands down on quality of materials and resolution.

    What do you call yourself?

That's the problem I have in Italy when I try to describe what I do: there's no term in italian to define trading, other than 'trading' and frankly within an italian phrase it sounds ridiculous.
