jerry, tried that, first clear all data, then backfill, still doesn't work. closed the program and reopened a couple of times and then clear and backfill, too. really i'm just glad the program's working again. thanks again for the help with the patch. would love to have that 200sma on my hourly...

well, thanks jerry, however i went and changed my " maximum days on chart" and even the " consolidate chart after " to 60 days, but it's still only showing 20 days. clicked okay, it even says 60 even after i tried restarting the program, too. any ideas?

200 sma on the hourly chart, that needs about thirty days data to have it draw.

ydfah, how does it work with interactive? i suppose you have to have an account with them and subscribe to data. will this patch allow it to work with them?

ydfah, i understand that it's really a stand alone software program, and as long as we can get data to it from one of the other providers, it will continue to work even though the company may be gone, is that correct?

i loaded this latest iq patch, told it even works for tda, but my backfill still doesn't work. quotes do, not backfill. any ideas?

how do you get it ib data, do you have to have an account and receive data through them?

i do have a tda account, does this iqfeed patch work with them? i installed it and it doesn't for me.

iqfeed is expensive, the patch doesn't seem to work with tda, is there any other patch i could try with some other data. not sure how ib works or whatever else might be cheap.

saw this link to fix quotetracker, don't understand how to use it. is it just for back fill on iqfeed? and how do i install it?
