Very true. But I'm still not sure if you would get charged for the initial 100 if you only get filled on 50. I remember getting filled on 12 shares when I sent an order for 1000, and I honestly haven't checked my statement yet to see what I was charged.

CQG is a broker, not a routing mechanism for stocks.

You can't send orders for less than 100 shares as a professional trader. I'm not sure what the answer would be if you sent an order for 100 and only got filled for 50. But I'm paying .003 per share, so even if I only get filled on 50, 30 cents isn't going to bother me.

Actually, I think Tape A includes AMEX, as far as Hold is concerned. They sent me a novel with all of the routing options available, and I went straight to ARCA. I guess I need to study up on the routing options.
