I am using tradestation for charting. If this 1431.50 holds, could have nice bounce at 1426.

Here are the levels for the day. The first 2 S zones are minor support. Which consists of a zone from 1424.75-1422.75 The main resistance is just above the market 1429-1431. Mondays before FOMC are typically range reduction days. That will be the plan for today. If the market can get down...

Hog just leave, you sound ridicolous. I wake up everyday at 4:30AM to get ready for the trading day, stay focused all day with a little break during the lunch session for sim trades..... I laughed out loud when I read that. Go trade some more 1 lots and leave this thread alone. You have...

Seriously put up a daily chart and then a 1 minute chart below it. Take off the price axis. Can you notice a difference? NO. The patterns are the exact same on a daily that you will see on the one minute. I simply use other time frames to asses the probability of a pattern happening on a...

You say you are done yet you keep ranting... Stop posting, you are making yourself sound jealous. Let my calls stand for themselves. I would like to hear some from you as well since they are so easy if desired? Right? Your supposed noise is my income...... Fractals You cant tell the...

I really dont want any of this nonsense to continue as I do not want to take up a portion of this great thread. Hog, you have made your point that you think I am BS. Thats fine, now move on. Russeldaytrade, I appreciate your comment, it was my hope and content that at least one person...

You really need to go back and understand how the market works and why it moves the way it does. It moves from one set of stops to the next. The bigs could not take it down past the major s level today so they washed it out wiping out the weak longs, getting all retail breakout traders short...

    *Simulated* Trader P/L 2007

Sold a 1000 call spreads on spx on the close of January 24th. I had a strong feeling and the odds were that this market was about to get crushed the next day. My trading plan would not allow me to do it so I took the trade on the demo account........

Ill be blunt and honest, pivot points and supposed sr and oscillators give hardly an ege at all, if any. My SR is never going to be the same as anyone on ET, It is unique and powerful. You have what works for you and thats fine. But I still stand behind that if you want to intraday swing...

You obviously never made a consistent dollar trading in your life with a statement like that. If you are going to daytrade you should always look at an 81 minute or 15 minute chart at a MINIMUM before the start of the day. You always want to take a look at your weeklies and daily as well...

Do you mind me asking what range you are using before reversing? ie your are long at 1437 and it moves to 1436 then you reverse. You cant really reverse on every tick as moves up below the price correct?

Romik, it seems like you are experiencing murphys law as soon as you tried this new strategy. That is apparent with any new system etc, most likely the worst drawdown starts the first day. I dont know why, its just always seems to happen. You picked a hard time to start this. We are in a...

There is no way I know for sure. Its just a gut feeling. Most of the best traders are more psychologists then traders. Its all odds and probabilities.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I am not saying we are going straight up. If the es gets back up in the 1428-1430 area again that I would look at going short again. I am just saying 1pt or less risk with high odds is a good trade no matter the trend. You and I both know the whole world is short...

No disagreement there. I have been preaching that once those previous highs were taken out I am 100% bearish on a longer term basis.
