THE COMPOSITE MAN Wyckoff proposed a heuristic device to help understand price movements in individual stocks and the market as a whole, which he dubbed the “Composite Man.” “…all the fluctuations in the market and in all the various stocks should be studied as if they were the result of one...

    The Theory of Edge Diminishing

What I'm saying is, lets say some guru gives his exact method away step by step for free to this forum. How many people would have to trade his set up for that very trade to fully arb itself out of the market?

    Stop-loss: Trail or not?

It depends how far away your trailing stop is from spot. Obviously take into account the ATR and implied volatility of the underlying. I don't use stops. I'm a mental guy more than strategic. Probability of touch killed "stops" for me.

    The Theory of Edge Diminishing

I've read a lot on forums about how traders don't tell their "edge" to the public because they are fearful if by doing so, this current method that feeds their account would suddenly disappear, or maybe gradually, becoming fully arb'ed.. Is this shit even real? Lets say you tell this forum your...

From my studies on the efficient market hypothesis, and the random walk theory, specifically the latter... I'm not sure if I quite understand the concept. Is this theory claiming price movement day to day is utterly "random"? Does this theory claim that price has a log-normal distribution and...

When do you admit you are wrong?

How emotionally attached are you to trading? It seems like this board has a problem with losing money. A loss is a loss man, cut it when you know you fucked up and move on to the next. Re-deploy that capital like its nothing, also with my structure a loss isn't even a consideration. I build...

How did you trade the last 5 days?

/ES made all time high of 3158 on December 2 (Monday). Well today is Friday and since then we've seen a 89 point drop and a 82 point correction to end the week almost unchanged. Vol was bigger than usual yet the market didn't move much net net. How does one trade such a move? How did you?
