Is active trading a viable job for an individual?

You do realize that when it's that time to lay people off, they tend to fired the least popular team member. The saying goes "All work and no play, make jack a dull boy". Haha Hehe.

Is active trading a viable job for an individual?

Because (and just some possible scenarios)...it can lead to them trying to get you fired. So now in addition to your daily work duties, you have to manage this issue. You boss, being the envious "loser" can put on more work on you. So when you start getting behind, he'll say you are not working...

Is active trading a viable job for an individual?

Again, this is not how the real world works. People are mainly selfish and thinks what benefits themselves. What is usually good for the employer is usually bad for the employee. There is usually a middle point to everything. Employers wants employee to work hard but get pay low. Employee in...

Is active trading a viable job for an individual?

I would believe that in my younger days. But not how the real world works. Employers would be happy to work you to slave conditions while paying you the bare minimum.

Is active trading a viable job for an individual?

My statement was in reference to don't think employers are your friend and you have any responsibility to make them happy. Employer thinks the exact same way with employees. You example was someone who wasn't being careful. Don't trade at work is good advice. Not that it's the moral thing to do...

Is active trading a viable job for an individual?

It's a dog eat dog world. Not the employee's responsibility to make the supervisor happy. Me thinks. If it was me, now that I am more wiser, I would gather evidence from day 1 to sue employer when the time comes.

Is active trading a viable job for an individual?

Being honest here, I suspect anyone who think trading is a "passion" is still in the learning stages. An analogical reason being that after over 10,000 hours of driving experience, I can reasonable conclude that I am at a mastery level with driving skills. That I have never gotten into an auto...

He isn't some newbie. With 14 years of experience, I think this piece of advice should be pretty obvious to him. The only way to to overcome fear is to become a man who has no fear. Hehe.

Facebook's Zuckerberg fighting hard to send most user's data to NSA.

Doubtful anything good will come out of it. They tried their best with the 99% movement.

Facebook's Zuckerberg fighting hard to send most user's data to NSA.

I have. All good points but if you want to single out facebook on locations or messages then consider Cell phone companies Banks with credit cards Google or Apple Maps Can all do all the exact same thing. As with relationship I don't know how that info is useful. Don't be a terrorist and you...

Facebook's Zuckerberg fighting hard to send most user's data to NSA.

What data exactly does Facebook gather from you that the government can't already get? In all the news about this, I don't think I've read anything the specify what type of data Facebook gets from you. It's not like I am giving them my SSN. The government already has that and my DOB and who...

Is active trading a viable job for an individual?

At old age the issue of brain plasticity kicks in and makes it more difficult to generate new ideas. I've seen in a lot when I was working in industry. Old people have a hard time changing their way of thinking. Which is a bad trait for trading as it makes you slow to adapt to changes.

Is active trading a viable job for an individual?

I don't have a PhD. But when I talk to people who supposedly have PhD or even MD's or JD's. I sometimes wonder who is the smarter of the two. Hehe.

Is active trading a viable job for an individual?

Seriously? You would be 14 years closer to death. I would have given up and enjoy your last remaining years. There is nothing special about trying to figure out trading. It's not like the world is going to build a monument in your honor like they might do if you cured cancer or discover cold fusion.

Is active trading a viable job for an individual?

Yeah, maybe truth. I read you can "artificially" boost your own IQ score.

Is active trading a viable job for an individual?

You really can't make that claim unless you had the chance to see their IQ scores first hand. Some genius aren't so obvious. Some of them like to have a "dumb" down outward appearance. It's not that they are trying to be humble. But "dumbing" down can be a distress/relaxation mechanism to slow...

Is active trading a viable job for an individual?

Trading is easy. Like how Calculus is really easy but only because some Old dude invented it and decided to share it. Trading however won't be that easy. No one shares their Holy Grail. So IOW trading is only easy after the learning curve. I doubt anyone will be able to survive the learning...

    Daytrading & Divorce.....

My ex is now starting to call me during overnight hours and multiple times during the day instead of once a week like before. So far this week, multiple phone call attempts. Not sure what to do at this point. Seem like she is starting to get "desperate" at my no response?
