Vista here also tries to kind of restart the ATI driver, which at the end leads to blue screens!! I have Sierra running, which is really a very lean application... Vista is an ongoing horror!

I have biggest issues running two monitors under crappy Vista! There are known issues with the ATI drivers, just google. I'm on my way back to XP...

Thanks Bernard. I believe I will stay with IB and Ensign. The DTN backfill solves the main IB data problem using volume charts.

My major concern with X-Trader is that X-Study does not offer tick or volume charts, which I believe are an advantage for scalping. Does anybody know it it's possible to connect the TT feed to Ensign for example?

From my point of view, you will never know that before, but an indication for coiling action or possible chop are conflicting swings, means Lower High and Higher Low, which happen mostly at stronger support and resistance areas. The AHG thread is a good read on this.
