    7449.38 Will it break?

If nothing changes, it will probably hold. But who knows what the future has in store for us? GM or another major bank could go bankrupt; a foreign government could default on its debt, Mexico could invade the United States. Who knows? My crystal ball sucks.

    From the trenches of China

Thank you for the update. If you were to visit a mall or go out for dinner over the weekend, all appears normal where I live (Arizona), too. Trust me when I say the local economy is pretty bad. We're not standing in bread lines or anything, but property values and 401k/IRA/Pension accounts...

    who is stock_trad3r ?????

Is it really that hard to figure out? It's an act. It's something this individual does for his own entertainment. Are you under the impression that Stephen Colbert is really a conservative or have you already solved that riddle?

    Watch Your Trading Accounts.....Get Ready!

I imagine he's explained his comments since that interview in Oct. You have to wonder if that 19 sec clip was taken out of context, too.

Beat estimates. $86.20 in after hours trading. We should get a little bear rally off of this tomorrow. If we don't, watch out below.

    Sound familiar?

That sounds about right. Can anyone produce credible evidence indicating that was an actual Karl Marx quote? Or do I chalk it up as another half ass bloggers attempt to make his or her site sound relevant with bogus or distorted (mis)information?

The "Next Bail Out"....Pension Losses Approaching $1 Trillion....

Another one? Do you have any opinions of your own, or do you just click random links on the web and have them inserted directly into your brain? And if you happen to be Mike Shedlock, please go back to photography or tending the garden. Spam your crappy articles somewhere else.

US Banks....$6.84 Trillion in Deposits....$273 Billion In Cash....

Ignore half-ass blogs like this one. This guy is a flea with an opinion. It's nothing but noise. You have to be smarter than that.

Where is Elaine Choa?, over 240,000 jobs lost!

Would it kill you to put a little more effort into constructing a cohesive paragraph? It's hard to take someone seriously when their writing skills are on par with an 8-year old.

Carlos Slim buys 6.4% of the NYT

I've heard that for the last 15 years. Guess what? Hasn't happened, not even close. They also said digitizing everything will reduce paper consumption. Guess what? That hasn't happened, either. We consume more paper than ever. But I can't argue newspapers are dying or dead. Maybe...

Amazing Quote from the Wife of Wall Street Exec

You're projecting. Since you obviously wallow in the upper end of the income spectrum and therefore must have a thorough education, you are familiar with term Freudian Projection, no?

What is going to happen to the dollar in 5 years?

The question is, what is going to happen to every other country's currency in 5 years? The way things look, the whole world has issues, not just the U.S. The dollar's value is relative to other currencies, that's why it's holding on right now. That is what Peter Schiff got completely...

Charging ahead to push electric cars

Any improvement iron batteries have over lith-ion batteries is just a drop in the bucket. The only real advantage is building a battery without lithium, since there isn't enough of that material to build all the batteries we're going to need for our electric cars. And do you really trust the...
