saw this in my google feed - no idea if this is true

I've never had an issue. I get paid in BTC into Coinbase in the UK and convert it to GBP on CB Pro and withdraw it. Hits my bank immediately.

Can Tik Tok mess up Forex?

Tik Tok doesn't matter as far as forex goes. Way too large a market to even notice.

    Solana and staking on Ledger

To answer the question on the staking aspect of it, you will of course get better yields holding the coins yourself and staking them directly in the native wallet and even using a validator pool on Ledger but you do run the risk of bad behaviour as you point out. On a CEX you will earn less in...

What to tell people I do instead of saying Day trading?

Usually tell them it's convoluted and I will only bore them. Usually ends the conversation.

The Boss of Central Banks Just Approved Bitcoin as a Reserve Asset.

Print as much as they want with no broader consequence? Better to invest and transfer the wealth rather than just print more surely. Particularly when a number of investors in bitcoin will be buying high and selling low.

The Boss of Central Banks Just Approved Bitcoin as a Reserve Asset.

Then the central banks will first be looking for lower prices to buy in at. They will only be looking to buy in at a deep discount or average a position in as it falls. Good long term though for sure.

Bear market? “So what,” says World Chess Champion Garry Kasparov

ETH certainly has massive potential when it moves over to PoS. I think BTC is here to stay and also that BNB will stick around. A well audited stable coin is a positive for them and they have shown in the US that they are willing to bend on regulation if required to so that works in their favour...

    Trading BTC can beat HODL

Of course it is possible but as with stocks trading few traders outperform the market if they just dollar cost averaged into index funds. If you think bitcoin is worth investing in and aren't a solid trader then I'd suggest the same method will be for you.

Transferred USDT to Coinbase and it's now lost!

Yeah I think Coinbase only accept USDT on the ERC20 network. You should have had a choice of networks to send it from or known the network you were holding it on at the time in the wallet you were using. Sorry to hear about the loss.

    Shorting opportunity?(BTC)

I would be looking for shorts around $23k-$24k personally

Bitcoin bottom here at 20k....? (June 19th)

I think we may retrace to the $23k-$24k level before the next major leg down towards the $11k-$12k range.

    The Above 20K party

We are on the brink of recession - something BTC has never experienced. This won't be a bear cycle as it has seen before and previous levels will fly out the window. As above I'm inclined to think Dr Burry is correct and let's face it, he's rarely wrong when it comes to crashes.

Not just a normal Bitcoin bear market?

I agree, BTC has never really known a proper recession. March 2020 was over before it began. As is generally the case people are looking at equity assets and considering them risky in these times and so USD rallies.

    Bravado Culture in Trading

Ego, arrogance - call it what you will. The desire to appear better than other people and to look down on them. Sooner or later this business humbles us all.

Get into AXS now, or wait?

Real shame seeing this crash as hard as it has but I personally am not looking at gaming tokens or even many alts at the moment as we've not seeing the bottom yet.

Crypto Crash coming..... ? ( op jan 5 btc 43k)

I think there are a whole load of stop losses that big players want to match up to buy orders below 20k so 18k seems likely to me. Lots of small investors selling off in fear too so wouldn't surprised to see it go lower. I think around $12k is the likely floor of this bear market.

They're predicting no change on previous month YoY. I'll be surprised if that's the case.

Is that not the same as developing a strategy full stop though?

Dubai's Retail Giant Majid Al Futtaim Accepts Crypto at 29 Shopping Malls and 13 Hotels

Yeah they accept it, doesn't mean they then keep it.

Dubai's Retail Giant Majid Al Futtaim Accepts Crypto at 29 Shopping Malls and 13 Hotels

I would think only stablecoins will be used and long term those that are regulated. It's nice to see adoption but think there will be issues until the subject of regulation is resolved.
