Because telling a new trader to expect returns anywhere near the 30-35 % range is irresponsible. It sets up an expectation that can not be achieved and encourages a trader to take outsized, aggressive positions that will lead to quick draw down that a new trader with a small account can not...

To simplify things you can by a similar ETF that is traded/listed in the US such as IHY, HYXV, IJNK. These are not 100 % European HY..... AND, these still have currency risk ie: They are long in the local currency. On the equity side you can buy ETF's that are already currency hedged ie...

@zdreg why would a bail out be needed ? While not spectacular, Bank earnings have been healthy and any increase in interest rates only helps margins. Not to mention all the major players just passed stress tests. @Stock Trader Lance J Your C call is still looking ok. Care to expand on...
