The spread is usually between 3-4 cents. Not that great compare to the stock but this spread quite consistent throughout the day. MSFT used to have a 4-5 cents spread before the split, wonder why the spread never got split also :confused:

You can try to match the bid and ask price to see whether they are accurate. If you are buying but the bid is the already at the same level as the ask (or even higer then ask) then probably the ask price is not accurate. Raise your buying price 1 tick ahead of the bid in this case. I had the...

Maybe you can try creating a chart for every symbol instead of changing symbols within the chart. This should do away with a prompting.

I have the same problem but i notice you don't need to import your ASCII files into Global Server to use them. Just go to tradestation -> Format Symbol -> select 3rd Party Directory choose you ascii file and the data format and the chart should come up
