Covered a held over short at 892.25 (from 896.75) at 9:23. Glad I was flipping back and forth on Bloomberg checking the futures prices. I knew I could come here to find out what happened when I suddenly saw the DOW futures go from about -18 to -93.00!

Held two (ES) short positions through yesterday/overnight with no extra trades. Closed one short position today (+0.25) + 7 small trades - Still holding one short. +0.25 +0.50 +0.50 +1.25 +0.75 +1.50 +1.00 +1.50 +7.25 = $362.50

This was my first day trading the ES. I only traded one contract at a time with 6 total trades. +1.25 +2.00 +1.50 +2.75 +2.00 +0.25 +9.75 for $487.50

Still sitting on 425 TZA @ $35.95 avg. Almost set a sell limit order at 38.00 before I left the house this morning, but I got in a rush. Looking to pick up 25-50 more if it approaches 30.00 tomorrow, or maybe there will be another opportunity to take a profit.

I'm learning this as I trade ETFs trying to prepare for the YM and ES. I've held on to some DXD way too long (since mid-August), and I held on too long the last two days in my intraday trading as well. I had 9 positive intraday trades yesterday: +$331.87, +$1.80, +$70.33, +$136.83, +$289.09...

I'm hoping you're right although there are a lot of differing opinions on tomorrow. Seems like every other post here says a different direction.

Little chance of a retest of the August lows in the next few weeks/months?? I bought DXD, SMN (ETF - Shorts) at much higher prices as my first buys that I still have. I figured I would just hang on to it until we headed strong south again for some kind of retest. I am beginning to think that...

I guess we are heading to the new all time highs as we continue to impulse to the upside?? Not seeing any weakness; am I missing anything?
