Again persistence won out. After those first few trades I really wanted to give up, or at least change my strategy. My emotional feeling was to just go LONG and ride out the rest of the day. Alas, discipline prevailed.

Actually, I was referring to the movie character... ...I believe that Greed is what causes me to give back so many gains. Should I trade every opportunity I get or walk away when my profit target is met?

I can attribute at least 25% of my down days to "Gordon Gekko syndrome." When is it enough? Countless days I have profited in the morning, just to through it away in the afternoon. Sometimes I think I should walk away at a certain profit level. Do any of you have profit ceilings that you set?

I have always heard that traders have a directional bias. Does anyone have an opinion about day traders in general being bias in a particular direction? Which way are you more profitable? I am WAY more profitable SHORT. Short trades just jump out at me...

I never trade on a signal from OMNITRADER alone. All "OT" really does is flag major T/A signals for you. At least that's all I use it for. I watch my charts and when it feels right I use OT for a confirmation. By the way, I use the following candle charts in eSignal: 1-minute day chart...

All my losses are stops, I never close a negative position manually. All my positive trades ARE closed manually. I trade my gut, with T/A as confirmation (sometimes contrary). I have a sticky-note on my monitor that say "buy the exit." I don't buy good entries, but rather close stops.
