~Wave~ I feel like you are auditioning for the lead role in CBS's hit series "The Mentalist" Ha Are you capitalizing on your trading prowess? Or just jammin away to music?

To everyone who is having a hard time understanding how I analyze larger swings in the ES: I derive bands of prices from the data and I have shared a few ways I do this but not in full by any means. I have spoke about 1126 on the high end and 1032.50 on the low end. These are just imaginary...

Wave, what is appetizing to you about this range? I am curious.

Schizo, do you think we are going to sell off around 3:30? I ask because you mentioned it... What are your thoughts on the ES being at 1126 by Tuesday afternoon? Do you see any technical indications that one could derive this conclusion? EDIT: our posts must have crossed paths, NM

This seems very plausible. There is a good case for this. Regardless of the upside or downside the market has currently trapped itself inside a wide range 1032-1126. Trading should be EXTRA exciting and challenging.

The overnight session already missed this upside breech by 1 tick so we will see how this plays out...

Regarding my ES outside bar technique that I have been talking about: Today's price has to breech the upside now between 1111.75 -1114 depending on the time it chooses to do so to initiate this guide as valid. If it does not do so today then the level just continues to rise in 1 tick...

I'm not guessing Austin. Back test it for the QM/CL and then we can share back-tests openly in this forum. Yeah for this trade it isn't a guess. Certain stocks and contracts have little signature set ups that have nothing to do with candles or technical analysis "directly", meaning it isn't...

Actually Austin (say this with respect to your trading acumen) this set up happens on daily bars only EXACTLY like I showed it for the QM/CL. LOL. I don't understand why you are throwing in complicated trading logic and stating "this is a better way" when what you are saying is not my set-up AT...

They come in clumps and then disappear...they definitely are not meant for someone to day trade day to day off of but are a nice trade 5 or 6 times a year and add insight into other markets when they signal...if you continue back in time they continue to appear over and over...and yeah, I have...

The signature to this set up is the correlation between bar 1 and 2... ...day 2 opening inside day 1 wick and the high being less than day 1 close...this is the key. Check it out, it is a powerful signal on the CL and QM only, yes you see it else where but it does not have the same effect.

This example just happened to look like that...this trade does not work any other way and works like a charm (although I understand what you are saying)...I whole heartedly do not believe in candle sticks or their patterns. I am showing you this visually in candlesticks for reference only...

I misunderstood you. But I have no desire for the whole world to know about how I trade. I enjoy talking to select people and teaching people how to make money. I am using this forum to offer some insight and some techniques that I think someone could learn and utilize as trade signals or guides...

I have been trading for 5 years but we all start out with different core foundations. And learn at different paces. So I don't expect you to "get" what I'm showing you. These concepts are not taught publicly as a "whole". Obviously separately, there is nothing special about the ingredients I use...

Pekelo, you are my favorite person in here. Thank you for your special interest in me. I state specific numbers. Many predictions. No fluff. No sales pitch. I am here to help. I have been active in here and will continue to do no matter how much you contend with me openly.

Schizo-the proof is in the pudding. many people complicate trading and I have a certain skill-set to uncomplicated it. At the core of it all you could give me a running ticker showing time/price for a contract, pencil, paper and I can derive trades. It is just how I learned to trade and it works...

Ok, as a guide this is now a valid short set-up with todays low of 1055.50 as the minimum downside target. Confirmation of this: when looking at the current ES 16:30pm est 30m bar, price needs to rise (as of now) to a minimum of 1103.50 to initiate this downside target...each 30m bar from...

Flack is fine. I am good trader. Thats not dependent on anyone's opinion of things they have no clue about and I understand that. I have chosen to spend some time in here like everyone else. Thus, I accept other people views no matter how limited their scope of me is. The way I trade seems to...

The candles circled are very bullish when certain logic is applied to them...this is a very stealthy technique that I will share with this forum if appropriate...It is QM/CL based trading model so maybe it isn't appropriate other than cross contract correlation/undercurrent type analysis...let...
