Well, we're now below 760. This is my punishment for exiting my short from 837 before my template said to. Mechanical beats discretionary again. :mad: :mad: :mad:

MDT, FYI...I got another short signal at 784 but I'm not taking it because I don't like to put on positions at this time of the morning.

Man, it is all over that 400 sma right now. My template says that I should still be short. That's what I get for mixing discretion in with mechanical. Looks like we got some more room to the downside. :eek:

Just covered 2nd half at 795. Running into the daily 400 sma on the DJ-30. I'm not saying that we won't break it but this seems like a good area to take profits. Can always get short again if we break and head to the 500 at 10,626 cash.

Well someone is buying here. Just covered the second half of my short at 849. It may continue lower but I've got to play by my rules. Hopefully I'll get another entry here before 10:00 Central.

I don't hold positions overnite or anything like that but if my setup has me in a position in the morning, it may keep me in it all day. I just have to stay patient and trust it. Holding overnite would give me insomnia.

I know this is an ES thread and I'm mostly a YM trader but suffice it to say that I'm short and don't see much reason to get long. As I write this, the DJ-30 is at 10802 and my first support level is at 10,734. Happy hunting.

IMHO, the problem with overbought and oversold indicators is their general asymptotic nature. A stochastic that is showing an oversold condition can only go as low as the range of its settings and just keep getting closer to the bottom (or top). Meanwhile, the security or market can continue...

Holy buy program, Batman! Tick is +1100. Don't like to take long signals on buy programs or shorts on sell programs. Seems like they're over as soon as they begin. Working out well for volente, though. Nice one.
