Nice trade! Question? Using minute charts (60, 15, 5, 1) I can't determine what got you into that trade. I'm not using tic charts so that may be the reason. Was there some areas on longer term charts that I might be missing. Thanks for your considerations to explain. :)

When trading Countertrend against a strong trend, it is imperative to wait for the signal bar to close before you place your order, and then only enter on a stop at 1 tick beyond the bar in the direction of your trade (if you are buying, buy at 1 tick above the high of the prior bar on a stop).

Shorted 102.32 @ 6:11:32 quickly moved stop to plus 3. Stopped out @ 6:14:03.

:) Went long above the 8:30 am PT 5 minute bar @ 100.45. Exited @ 8:47 am 100.68. Market had been trending up. Resistance was 100.78
